I didn't find any thread about this deck only. I like this deck a lot. I just found out that their first edition (regular size) has been sold out. Therr will be a new edition, arriving within a month. The very good thing is that it will be silk matte lamination (1st ed had matte lamination). But what I don't like is that the reverse will have a frame.

I absolutely love this deck ! 🥰

When I first got it I used it all the time and completely neglected my other decks for a few months. The artwork is gorgeous, it would have been nice to have a book to go with it though.

My favourite card would have to be Judgement, it has a very Danse Macabre vibe to it.

Yes, there are now also a limited edition (regular size, silk matte finnish, brown reverse) which makes it very close to the initial limited edition except for the size and no extra cards (and no wodden box but who wants that? 😊).

I did subtract order-number between two recent dates and draw the conclusion that they get around 15 orders per days. That's pretty much.

@Katie i'm confused after staring at the new edition, what do you mean by "the reverse will have a frame"??? just that you don't like the new backing design?

i love my copy of the deck (i have the regular 1st edition) but i really love the backing of the limited edition and i'm envious that they're coming out with that version in the 2nd edition. they're trying to make me splurge for a second copy and it's working.

If you compare the 1st ed reverse side with the 2nd ed reverse side there i a thin frame in the 2nd ed. Maybe I should explain using images and not my swenglish here but I am a little in a hurry now....

Here is the difference. 1st ed first.

Then 2nd edition.

Ohhhhhh, I get it now, thank you!

And honestly, while I couldn't convince myself to shell out for the limited edition, i've never liked the blue backing, so i just went ahead and bought the regular 2nd edition with the brown backing.  This is the first time i've ever bought a second copy of a deck, and the first time i've ever bought a copy just for the backing, but, well, i really dislike the card backing ahaha.

I have the regular one with the blue back, and if I was pressed to pick a favorite deck this might be it - love the art so much! I don't dislike the blue back, but wow the brown one is really gorgeous... I really can't afford to get another copy just for the back, though.

It is a really great deck. So many tiny details everywhere, and it's just my style.

I must admit I did order the 2nd ed regular (limited ed) brown backing within 15 minutes from seeing it. Can't wait to get it. And yes I know it's crazy to order it but couldn't resist.
