Smell of New Cards!

Am I the only freak of loves the smell of their cards, especially when they are new? 🤣 The deodorizing thread and having just taken out a deck I haven't used in a long time that I never used much and smelling them made me wonder if its just me? I love to take random whiffs of my cards when using them.  I also love the smell of books and paper. Any other sniffers out there? 😂

i love the smell of old books, they smell like vanilla. And I have to keep them out of my dog's reach, because he's also enamored with that smell and he will paw the pages out.
But new decks? No. If I notice the smell at all, it's plasticky. Sorry.

Haha but Nice music to listen to! while I write to say:  I'm a smeller too Silver Lining!  But in the opposite way perhaps 🙂  I buy used decks more often and when they come w the "incense"-y smell (not Nag Champa--gives me headaches - don't know why) I feel instantly happy and they get more use.  New and old books smell good to me either way.  Decks that smell of chemicals get the clean kitty-litter treatment.  I have a lot of that on hand ...

I actually do enjoy the smell of old things too. I think the "new stuff" smell just catches my attention more. But every time I get a book from the library I give it a whiff. 

Maybe I like the plasticy smell. I also love the smell of new shoes......not old ones 😂
