Page of Ghosts Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 I'm thinking about ordering an indie deck from overseas. The limit for how much you can spend before you have to pay import tax on goods you order from online isn't very high in my country so I know this deck + shipping will be over that limit. Basically I wonder which "genre" or type of goods tarot decks are shipping as? I know books are free to import and that is the closest thing I can think of to tarot decks. I figure there might not be many other Norwegians in this group but the rest of you might know what it could say on the label ;D Oh, and it's littleredtarots shop I'm thinking of ordering from.
gregory Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 They do NOT count as books, sadly. Any help ? https://en.portal.santandertrade.com/international-shipments/norway/customs-procedures
katrinka Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 I *think* I recall Ciro Marchetti once saying that he marks his LE decks "gift" so the recipients don't have to pay customs. You might look into that angle.
Page of Ghosts Posted September 30, 2017 Author Posted September 30, 2017 Thank you gregory and katrinka. It's that 350 NOK limit I usually try to stay under, but this specific deck would be over 400 including shipping. I might just send Beth an email so I can try to calculate what extra I'd have to pay.
