In order to cement this foundation of the Hedgewytchery system, I suggest you take your deck of playing cards and turn each over and blurt one key word or phrase for each card, based on suit alone. Do this until you can do it without hesitation. 

 

Then do the same for each number. If you turn over Ace, say out loud 'Ace is beginnings'. If you turn over King, say 'A King is a symbol of power and men'. If you turn over an 8, say, '8s are ideas and thoughts of the mind.'

the other exercise you can do is put out three cards at random and say what you see based solely on colour: 

 

Red - Red - Red -- everything's great 

 

Black - Black- Black -- nothing good's happening anytime soon

 

Red - Red - Black -- trouble on the horizon

 

Black - Red - Black -- a temporary reprieve

 

etc. 

 

Don't go any deeper than that. It should keep you busy for several days. Practice until you can do it all like a reflex. Think of it like a pianist practising scales. 🙂
