Bit late posting my reading here this week!

 

The Ivory Shield - The Defector - Stronghold of the Zephyrs + The Lovers

There’s a strong emotional pull to this week again. The Ivory Shield repeats her appearance as a guide in emotionally troubling times. The Defector is an indication that I’m about to abandon a path to pursue something entirely different. This previous path has been a success but further growth lies in an entirely new endeavour. It’s difficult to relate this to something which is happening this week. It’s possible that it refers to a particular way of doing things at work which is replaced by an entirely new structure. This new structure is replacing something which has worked very well in the past. 

The Stronghold transmits a message from the realm of Air - The Lovers. This echoes the ‘path’ idea from The Defector. Here is a choice - a path of instant gratification or delayed gratification. Again, thinking to motions put in place at work - future gain is the aim with temporary pain now.
