Dana O'Driscoll, druid and creator of the Tarot of Trees, has a new deck forthcoming, the Plant Spirit Oracle. The deck is currently available for pre-order through Indiegogo, with an estimated shipping date of next February.

I'm really torn on this one. I love the colorful art (as I do with Tarot of Trees) and the selection of plants chosen- it's specifically based on North American plants, and some of the plants in the deck are ones I feel close to that you don't see often in decks. But what I REALLY dislike is the keywords 😞 For a number of the cards I've seen the keywords chosen do not match at all with the personal relationship I have with that plant. I wish the keywords weren't across the bottoms of the cards!

 

I'm wondering if I could get this deck and trim the keywords off the bottoms. I've never trimmed a deck before, but this deck is making me want to try it. I'm not sure how easy it would be as a first trimming job...also not sure whether it would make the backs look weird? What do you all think?
