Equipment To Video Tarot Card Readings

Hello, you  have probably seen videos where just the card(s) and the reader's hand appears in the video.  How is this done?  Smart phone with a tripod?  I would very much appreciate advice as to what set up I need to be able to do these kind of simple video readings.  Thank you!  Juna

I can attach my phone to it, and through USB I get a nifty light source.

 

Before using that, I was using a selfie-stick that transforms into a tripod, and I still travel with that for videos on the go.

Wow!  Thanks for this recommendation, Little Fang.  I checked out the link.  Just to be sure, the arms are bendable, so that 'yes' you can video cards on a table surface?  It seems like a very good price and to be good quality.

I've seen a couple of Little Fangs videos on youtube, and she has the camera aimed at the table surface. From what I can tell it looks just like you'd want it to! (You can always type in Little Fang Tarot on youtube and see for yourself ☺️)

Thanks for this suggestion, Raggydoll.  🙏  I loved the reading by Little Fang that I viewed on youtube.  Beautiful presentation.  💙  In terms of the piece of equipment, the image was tilted at an angle that made me just a little dizzy.  I would hope that I could get a level, flat video of a table surface.  There was some glare and an 'O' from the O-ring appeared a few times on the card surfaces.  Or, maybe it was a spiritual orb appearing?

😁 There have been so much talk about spiritual orbs appearing on youtube videos lately. Orb-spotting certainly seems to be a thing for some people. I myself lean a bit more toward the natural explanations 😉

The first time I used it, I had a nice table to work with where I could get the device closer, this time around I had my desk, but I had it in a different location. I should have put it closer!  (Make sure your desk is thick, or has thick areas, since it won't grip glass very easy and I have to put it on the wooded sections!) ❤️

It was probably the light, but I'll have to go back and look.  😉

Little Fang, I learned so much just from watching your video.  Thanks for pioneering this for some of the rest of us.  The tech stuff can feel formidable to me at times.  Thanks for just jumping in and doing it!  I shall -- once I get a few decks that are being completed -- have my son send this piece of equipment to me.  I live in Bali where shopping can be a challenge -- even on-line.
