TekkieTarot Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 (edited) Hello it’s been awhile lol. So I was thinking back on all the times when cards have popped up for certain things and was wondering if anybody wanted to share their card experiences? For example : I’ve had the 10 of swords come up when my car was dead in the winter, someone betraying me, end of a conversation or relationship Ace of pentacles : buying a new car battery, a guy wanting to physically touch me, being in my natural form (no makeup, hair weave or fake nails) The empress : my mom, a guy feeling as if I was too into myself, an attractive woman, kind and caring man Judgement : forgiveness, leaving something in the past, a fresh start The lovers : sex, a bond, cheating, a guy with with 2 women at the same time 7 of swords : a guy sneaking around with a female co worker, someone ignoring my text message, pranking someone, lying, a guy who slept with a girl then ghosted her the tower/4 of swords : an unexpected medical problem that cause them to stay at the hospital for a couple days Justice : karma, pettiness, weighting the pros and cons about something 2 of cups : a conversation, a friendship Queen of wands/The moon : me going through a period of depression, sadness and psychological hang ups If anyone would like to share their experiences please comment I would love to hear what you got 😃 Edited November 12, 2019 by TekkieTarot Adding somethings to it
Barleywine Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 Hmm, 83 views and zero replies, so I'll bite. I've done thousands of readings over the last 45 years so it all becomes kind of a blur. But what I did was distill all of my most frequently used metaphors and analogies for the RWS minor cards into a set of "tarot euphemisms." Rather then retyping everything here, I'll just post a link to the list, which should show up in your downloads folder when you try to view it. The example that started the whole thing for me was seeing the RWS 10 of Cups as the chorus verse from the Beatles song "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da." https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2018/07/26/tarot-euphemisms-a-work-in-progress/
