My name is Joshua.

I've been interested in tarot for quite some time, although I have to admit I started out a skeptic. My mom believed strongly in psychics and spirituality, and I slowly turned onto the bandwagon after her. I was extraordinarily close to her, although she passed away a few years back.

I've been able to tap into this energy as of late - I believe I heard the phrase "getting out of your own way" when it comes to this and that feels pretty accurate. I just sort of "know" things, things will come to me if I let them and clear my mind out.

In actuality, this is something i've experienced for a long time. The first time I had this... Was actually a sad occasion. I was visiting my uncle on a trip home from college, and he was in ill health. A click of knowledge came into my mind: he has about a month. And it was about 30 days later...

Life has had its ups and downs - a lot of downs, but I believe in this process, and am eager to relate this to Tarot. I was actually an English major for a time, so diving into the beautiful symbolic images and crafting an interpretation with the cards is something i'm excited to try my hand it.

So, i'll close with this - Hi, everybody! I live in Florida and have a big Maine Coon named Omner (Or Om Noms), who is my son and best friend. I hope we all get along well! 😄

Welcome to the forum!

I love your story and totally get the 'getting out your way' thing!

Your cat sounds cute - my sister has a Maine Coone. So fluffy (and allergy inducing!!!)

Hi @Kraley!  Welcome to the forum!  I'm a Floridan myself, I'm in the Tampa Bay area- Holiday.  I have 2 brother cats that are supposed to have some Maine Coon in them.  They are both large but one has long hair but not the double coat.  They both LOVE the water!!!
