First Video - 5 Cent Tarot Unboxing

Hi all! I started a YouTube channel but haven’t had much time to post anything ... until now! Received my 5 Cent Tarot and love it and wanted to try my hand at an unboxing video. Learned a lot with just this one - first I’m not sure how the quality turned out... not sure if it’s my connection or the upload itself that is not the quality I thought it would be so if someone wouldn’t mind giving me feedback I would welcome it!

 

Also, I took my time when drawing the cards and reading through all the upright and reverse meanings because it was my intent that I wanted to leave the image of the card up for a bit so someone watching could really see it - but it ended up being so long! And I’m not sure if you can see the image as well as I thought when I was videoing it.

Also started an Instagram (@astridstarotrealm) and Twitter account (@astridstarot) but I haven’t been able to update them much yet. I will though!

The quality is good during about 2 minutes but after that the video is a bit blur, it can come from the adjustment of your camera. I noticed that people often check the adjustment of their camera regularly.

 

Or it comes from my internet connection?

Perhaps the vid is still processing?  It was the same for me.

Thank you both! No well I don’t think it’s still processing as it’s been uploaded for a few hours now... Ack! Well I ended up merging two videos because when I got to the point I was going to open the deck I didn’t have something to get the plastic wrap off with lol 🙄. So I wonder if the first video is fine and the second isn’t ... which of course was what was longest. Lesson learned to do a test before I have such a long video. Maybe it was due to the length. I’m not sure. I might take it down and repost one that’s more of a deck review or something instead and know that going forward I need to find a solution as to what happened. Thank you again!

It could be a few things.  Lighting and perhaps your camera didn't focus.  You might want to try running some tests and see what conditions you need for your camera to adjust.  Were you using a webcam or android?  Also, when you uploaded the video there are some quality adjustments you can do before you upload, did you go through those steps?

No I actually uploaded it at a medium quality due to how long it was... I just went for it and didn’t really do the testing I should have. These are great tips and I will give it a try again with this in mind!! Bummer that my first one went that way but good to know some things to work on to fix. Thank you!
