Widespread depression or anxiety?

I have some faint hope for the year ahead. I am trying to get over my fear of the looming disaster that is the US and North Korea. I am very worried about what the autocrat is doing in the country next door to mine! (I am in Canada) Scary times. It makes me feel impotent rage and great fear.

 

AlbaDawn, interesting links, thanks :) I did feel that numerically speaking, 2018 would be better than 2017. Let's hope!

Completely understand the doom feeling with that situation, I'm striving not to think about it as much as possible. I am astonished at some of the people who are allowed to be "leaders" in this world.

I think many humans are feeling as we do, the world over. Because there are a lot of cruel, greedy leaders out there!

Let's hope they all turn out like Yertle the Turtle* in the end - having fallen off the top of the stack, they shall land in the mud!

Personally people have been talking about the End Times where I must be honest as a spiritual person evil energies and personalities are starting to show their true colours...

Now it has come to my attention where things that have been happening are very odd if I must say. For example how in the start of 2018 we had a Super or Blood moon a rare moon phase. Then out of 150 YEARS we just had the SUPER BLUE MOON now what a coincidence is this?...

I'm serious there's something very VERY dark that's going on in this world today even on the news when they talked about the how rare this phase of Moon was to the point of me getting goosebumps out of pure fear. I also had tears in my eyes and believe it or not this was around 9pm at night.. As a psychic medium I strongly believe there's something dark that is going or has happened and it seriously scares the shit out of me.

Don't get me wrong I may sound paranoid I wish I was but truth be told I'm not. For everyone who don't know I'm a natural born empath where I even have the rare birth marking of this on my right upper right thigh. One of the things about being an empath I'm able to pick up upon evil entities and beings. Truth be told there's something going on and it's VERY concerning to the point where they spiritually threaten me I've even been spiritually attacked by a satanic creature.

Well said, Padma.  I live in that country south of you and I feel the same way.  I think for many Americans we might be experiencing this depression because of the dire situation we find ourselves in everyday.  I don't want to bring politics into this but local and international politics can have meaningful effects on societies and cultures.  Personally I'm praying for the midterms in hopes they'll bring some positivity into Washington DC.  I believe in order to combat depression you first MUST go to someone for help.  I've been on meds since 2011 and my doctor said I'm finally in remission, just saw him Monday.  Without them I can't imagine  how I would function.  We can't give the world meds but we can give the people we come in contact, HOPE!  And faith in whatever anyone's personal beliefs are.  Have faith in yourself, have faith in each other and have faith in all the good in the world.  I believe I've read somewhere that good conquers evil in the long run. ;)  Negativity does not help anyone, especially our outlooks on life.  Be happy, be positive and be The Sun.  Unless you prefer The Moon.  8)
