TheMaverickWitch Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 Hello, tarot beauties! My name is Steven and I'm super stoked learn from these forums. Recently in my spiritual practice, I have been diving really deep into intuition development, past and parallel life regressions, and star seeds. Tarot has been an integral part in developing my intuition and understanding these lofty concepts. A few weeks ago while deep in meditation, I felt a huge calling to start my own tarot business as part of a New Years resolution in 2020. My intention is that I play a part in awakening people spiritually, healing, doing regression work, and to work as a full time tarot reader and intuitive. I feel very fulfilled to finally be doing what I enjoy doing and would love some advice from people on how they have grown their own business and how they have evolved into doing tarot / psychic work full time. What is something you wish you knew at the beginning of this journey? Thanks and love to you all!
Raggydoll Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 Welcome to the forum! Great to meet you! So, lets see... what I wish I knew at the beginning of this journey? Hmm... I guess, that today - 25 years later, I will still feel like I have more to learn and that I will be just as excited about it all 😀 But one more thing that I do want to mention is that I think its vital that you have the clinical competence and experience to do that kind of work - especially things like regression therapy. I am sure you already know that, but its still worth mentioning! I am an intuitive (or perhaps 'psychic' is a better term) reader myself and this forum has been a great way of developing that skill even further. Once a new member has a minimum of 5 posts they can participate in the exchanges or offer readings for feedback. You could do intuitive readings for practice as a way of building up your confidence and fine tuning your skills. We also have a mentoring program if you wish to get a solid understanding of tarot. I highly recommend it, its probably one of the best free tarot resources out there as it is tailored to your unique goals and circumstances. Do check it out!
gregory Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 Welcome. What I wish I had known - that the much lamented late Aeclectic (the first forum I joined) existed. I learned so much of what I now know there. I have no interest in making a business out if it all, though, and to be honest I don't see things like star seeds, "awakening" and regression as part of tarot. I use the cards. End of.
Eric13 Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 Welcome. After reading professionally for a while recently, I now realize it's better to offer readings, readings just as real, for no charge. Under the same circumstances that I did them for money. Long story, but a positive one. I would also recommend the mentor program offered here.

Tarot has nothing to do with star seeds and regression work. I just use it as a tool to give more insight into them when I feel called to 🙂 I'll check out the Eclectic tarot forum!

There is just old archived threads to be seen. Here you go https://www.tarotforum.net/
EvelynnMorragan Posted January 10, 2020 Posted January 10, 2020 Welcome! I'm new here, too! Just wanted to say that I've found Tarot to be a wonderful spiritual accessory. I would love to someday be able to read professionally. Kudos to you for moving forward with your practice! And GL with the business!
LoveLightPeace Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Hi and welcome to TT&M @TheMaverickWitch! Let's see...I wish I had known how much more I would learn about tarot and doing readings by participating on a tarot forum (jnstead of just reading posts / threads). I say that because it took me a long time to start posting after I joined (here and earlier forums like Aeclectic). Participating on TT&M is something that I really enjoy doing whenever time allows, and I learn something every single day.
