Hello,

My name is Lily, but you can call me Elune. I was first introduced to tarot by my biological mom when I was twenty one. I was spending a week with her and she read for me and I thought it was the most amazing thing ever! I've never really dedicated time to studying the tarot. I've always let other things get in the way of studying, but now I am on a mission to learn how to read! I have always used tarot books and keywords to read and as you can imagine, that has led to being confused and never producing accurate readings. I want to be able to read intuitively. This is not easy for me as my mind usually goes blank when I look at the cards.

I have collected many tarot decks over the years, but due to space limitations, I keep culling my decks. It is a sad thing, as I would love to hang on to every single one of them, but it is what it is. Right now, my three favorite decks are the Crystal Visions tarot, Alchemia tarot, and The Ethereal Visions Illuminated deck. I"ve never owned a traditional Rider-Waite deck because I honestly do not like the images, but from what I understand, it is best to learn with that deck and then transfer that knowledge to the deck of your choosing. I have the Golden Art Nouveau tarot on its way. It will be here Monday! I liked the Ethereal Visions deck so much and saw the Golden Art deck and figured that was the best I could do as far as RWS right now. I am pretty sure I am going to love it though. I also like to add Oracle cards to my readings and I have several oracle decks.

A little about my non-tarot story. I have been married to my soulmate for three years, though we have been together for seven and have known each other since we were four. We have a beautiful little soulbaby who just turned one in December. My husband works and I am a stay at home mom and a future homeschooling mom. I had to permanently retire from working a couple of years ago due to the fact that I am legally blind and working was making my vision decrease very rapidly. I was abused constantly as an infant all the way until I was a toddler and lost most of my vision as a result. This has made it difficult to read tarot, but I am determined to learn nonetheless. I am currently studying to be a freelance proofreader, which is incredibly exciting.

I hope to meet a lot of people here and make some new tarot friends and hopefully study buddies, lol. Thank you for taking the time to read about me and I hope that you have an amazing day.
