Seeking reviews on the Gendron Tarot deck

Hello! I have an opportunity to receive the Gendron Tarot deck and there appears to be mixed reviews on it. If you have it, please share likes and dislikes. Is there a deck that is comparable in the pros it offers - symbolism and message delivery, but better quality collage art? I am not typically a big fan of collage art, but really like Danielle Noel’s cards. @Rodney and @gregory, do either of you, or both, have this deck and could share your thoughts on it?

I do have the deck. For me it seems to lend itself only to certain questions from certain people - it. Maybe it is the style that shouts "don't take me seriously" but answers I get are mostly of superficial nature. Or maybe i picked the deck only for these type of questions. In any case, it does not lead to a spiritual journey for me. I can't take it seriously, and it seems not to take itself seriously. But it makes me laugh.

Thank you for sharing! I just cannot figure out why it is so ridiculously priced online - just because it is OOP? It really makes it hard to know of it is a good reading deck or just a fad or, I don’t know. As a fairly new reader there are so many choices out there it makes it challenging to know what is worth investing in. I do usually watch the reveals to see if it is a deck that I can even relate to. I haven’t done that yet. I really appreciate your perspective.

I have it. I haven't used it in ages, but I do like it. I am actually a fan of collage decks, so I may be a teeny bit biased.

 

The collage isn't the best AS COLLAGE that I've ever seen - on the other hand I do think it's more "on message" than some.

 

Death as Transition bugs the hell out of me - but it always does.... I can't actually immediately think of one where the collage is BETTER and the messages are still spot on.

Thank you for chiming in. This is good to know. I think I will go checkout a walkthrough on YouTube and see how it feels.

It's a deck I've owned several times and always passed on - the aces as babies, especially the Ace of Swords, is a deal-breaker for me. Some of the other human figures are great either for me, but the baby with the sword

Thank you! I watched a reveal video and that was off for me, too. There are just so many other amazing decks out there, I think this one is a pass.
