gregory Posted February 15 Posted February 15 Yes - I know people do that. But a MM LoS deck is never going to make a fortune. Troll already said they would put it away if it turned out to be legit, because it wasn't OK to use. But - it was bought because they liked the imagery so much - and they will never get to see it. So.... Issue is simple I have cerebral palsy and knowing how things are around me I never will use ANY deck that is worth 100 euros or is Limited edition . I love everything Jodorovsky represents as artist and as Tarot master so I am super happy having his deck even if I won`t use it

Nothing wrong with that—perhaps @Troll is planning to pass it on, but wants to be sure it's legitimate, first. Yes I have two bargain decks now .I will never sell them myself ,but my family can do as they wish .I bought them because I got a bargain in both cases 19 and 20 euros and loved artist Jodorovsky and Luis Royo ,but my family can do what they want it won`t be my call anymore Edited February 15 by Troll

I have one deck that another person kept unopened several years, and I have a hard time using it now because it is so warped. Just saying. And you won’t know if the deck is complete or not. I know someone who sold a vintage, unused deck but received complaints because it turned out to not be complete 😕 I will tell that to my family ,so when they sell tell to be careful .Thank you for the advice

I get the CP bit - but not even opening it to look when you value Jodo and the artist so much seems a shame.

This is something that hit me as I got old. When i started my [still ongoing] death cleaning process--I discovered things I loved but had never used for 10+ years. And started using them. It hit me that to hold onto them until I died without ever using them was just bizarre. But when I was younger this viewpoint didn't exist for me and I "saved" things. Now I don't. It will all be lost to me in 10-20 years anyhow 😇
gregory Posted February 15 Posted February 15 Funny you should mention it. Those crystal glasses.... Wine tastes better in them....

Maybe it will change with time ,but for now it seems too stressful to use them .Also because I read keywords there isn`t any practical benefit using different decks

You could just enjoy looking carefully? (Aside - I went to a Jodorowski workshop once in London. It was not Jodoroski himself though - but one of his associates. It was a reading method. Can't remember now but I do have it written down. and we use the Camion Marsielle).

I have many decks which are "art decks" for me. I don't read with them per se but i study the imagery [most are historical] and enjoy them as part of research or just as art appreciation moments. I show them to friends or clients who might be interested in the art so share them that way rather than via readings. On another note, i don't care for Jodorowsky's tarot philosophy although I know he has many fans 😇 Edited February 16 by Misterei

I have cerebral palsy so I really y don`t want to risk ,but like I said my approach can change in few months time and maybe I will open it then ,but I have two decks for reading right now and that is more then enough
