Hello, 53rd here. I think I recognize some of you from other tarot sites we've shared in the past. That aside, I've been reading cards for about 25 years, going professional ("professional" --if you can call it that as I read for payment only now and then in coffee shops when the mood strikes me). I read both tarot and regular playing cards and have Lenormand style decks that I pretty much only look at, but have not attempted to seriously study as of yet. I buy and sell tarot and oracle decks and books online (and in my brick and mortar store when I had that) from time to time and have done such for about ten years or so. My interests are primarily older, historic and vintage decks and very old card spreads that I hear about from others' familial traditions as well as looking through vintage little-white-books/instructions found in older card decks and what I can find in old books in shops or online archives. I don't restrict myself to just old card decks and purchase newer decks when they strike my fancy. I don't consider myself a "collector," but, perhaps, I am? My reading style is a combination of advanced age and personal experiences, numerology, some astrology and a lot of intuition. My most recent preoccupation is writing reviews for the tarot cards and books I've purchased online, currently developing a template so I don't miss anything, provide what is most important from this reader's standpoint, and consistency. Now, if you made it this far through my gibber-jabber 😑💤🤔--well, it's so very nice to meet you all!!! 🤗

Wow! Can I ask what's behind the significance/meaning of such a unique name? Not trying to pry, just very curious.   🙂

Well, it's a very long story that started and ended when I was the victim of long-term domestic abuse. I was looking for something....something to help me following my last hospitalization at the hands of my abuser. I was left with nothing and faced with starting my life over again at 45. Alone and in despair, I made what some would call a pact with Camio the 53rd Spirit of Goetia.  Camio, or Caim (Cain) Caym (they go by many names, usually) was once in the Order of Angels and is one of the fallen. My "promise," or "sacrifice" for help was to use his name as the 53rd Spirit online so he is known everywhere I go online for as long as I live. He appears in the form of a black bird. He also tells the future, which got me started in fortune-telling, really.
