katrinka Posted February 29, 2020 Posted February 29, 2020 All of this, what everyone said. We're all wired a little differently. Even disabilities can sometimes be advantages, in some cases. There's evolutionary reasons for a lot of things. That's why we need the whole tribe, and not just some hypothetically "normal" individuals.
Eric13 Posted February 29, 2020 Posted February 29, 2020 The brilliance of most tarot decks made by the Golden Dawn is that they do have a wide array of meanings especially the RWS deck. They are full of symbolism, metaphors and stories touching all kinds of faiths, non-faiths, philosophies from beliefs even legends. picking up one random card and really doing some research on it can lead to a whole world of meditations, self help, if you will, can help one look past the commercial success of the deck and see it for all of Pam's brilliant art work, and Waites insight. It's all there in one deck.
stephanelli Posted March 1, 2020 Posted March 1, 2020 I've moved the latest posts regarding aphantasia into the Chatter Room as it was a bit too of topic and it's such an interesting topic! Find it over here:
Eric13 Posted March 1, 2020 Posted March 1, 2020 This is a fascinating discussion. I see things in my dreams, I see shapes and colors and things when I meditate, I also see emotions. But one thing I also find very interesting is when people tell me they dream in black and white, which I never have and can't imagine that, and it seems a lot of people fly in their dreams also.
