Jungian Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 In general terms, the real meaning of the HP is that 'you do not know the answer yet'. It is a 'maybe' card. Sometimes it offers an advice: 'trust your intuition and things will move ahead'. I think this interpretation applies for a career spread as well. Both the RWS and the Marseilles HP offer the same message: 'the answer is not know yet' or that 'the answer lies inside you'. However, when it comes to certain professions, like astrologer, psychic, teacher, philosopher, psychologist, counselling and psychotherapy practitioner, crime investigator, the HP is a positive card, as it shows potential to land to a job revolving around such professions. I have a personal experience where the HP (RWS) implied a coaching job to a person I know. I think in the Marseilles HP it is even more obvious that we are talking about a teacher, given that the priestess herself carries an open book which shows knowledge to others. Of course, she keeps some knowledge secret, such as every teacher transmits only the knowledge he/she thinks the students need. Of course, the HP would not be a great omen for those working on the banking sector or any similar field as it is the card of the unknown, while these professions require straightforward solutions. I am kinda excited by my interpretation. I would like to have some additional views.
