Lupa Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 Hello there! I'm not sure how I missed this forum for so long, but I'm glad I found it! My name is Lupa, and I've been practicing divination since 1998. I started out with the Elder Futhark of runes early on, then discovered tarot and animal cards. More recently I've been creating my own divination systems, including the Tarot of Bones (based loosely on RWS symbolism but with more natural history), Skull Scrying (using animal skulls in scrying-type divination) and Pocket Osteomancy (a very basic bone-casting set). My current book project is a nature-based pathworking exploration of the Major Arcana. I've been a dedicated vendor and sometime presenter at the Northwest Tarot Symposium in Portland since its inception, and I may have met a few of you there! I've been pagan since 1996, and I've always gravitated toward nature-based practices; this should come as no surprise, since I was a little nature nerd from a very early age, and never quite stopped. I make ritual tools and other artwork from hides, bones and other natural materials, I write books on nature-based paganism, and when I'm not working I love being outdoors. I do a lot of volunteering in things like habitat restoration and litter pickup, and I also volunteer some nature writing time as well. And when this pandemic clears up I intend to get back out on the trails for more hiking and exploration. Right now, though, I'm very fortunate to live on a farm owned by a friend of mine, where I am the primary caretaker for the various animals here, and I get outdoor time every day, even if it's just to do chores. Finally, allow me to share with you a picture of my dog, Pikka, just because:
