Hello,Tarot Family!

Hi! My name is Adri! I've been reading for others for about a year now and my wife and I are traveling artists that go by the , "The Rainbow Myriad" ! Before Covid, we were making our way from Florida to Georgia but had to bunker down a bit in Tallahassee because you can't social distance when you live out of your suitcase! I'm really happy to be here among like-minded folks😁

 

My passion is in tarot spread and readings dealing with change and I'm studying Numerology(I want to get licensed!)! I enjoy mixing both tarot and numerology together as I believe they are inherently related! My favorite deck is my "Numerology Guidance" deck! If I was a deck, I would be this deck. I feel like it is an extension of myself! My tarot text is called "The Modern Witches Tarot" which I enjoy because it doesn't stray too far from the Smith-Waite(which makes it easier to study for me) and has a sense of humor,like me😜 I hope you all are well!

Tallahassee? I've passed through there and TBH, it didn't strike me as the kind of place that's friendly towards traveling artist types! Keep a low profile (as one should in a pandemic anyway) and you'll be OK.  And if your spidey senses start tingling, promise us you'll head for Miami. Much more cosmopolitan, as I'm sure you're aware!

I'm not aware of any legitimate licensing agency or requirements for numerology. It's like reading cards or casting horoscopes, you just learn it and go to work.

They are.
Tarot was originally a gaming deck. And both playing cards and Marseille Tarot are often read number + suit.

Thanks for the welcome! You can be licenced in Numerology through Metaphysical Schools Nowadays. Of course you can still practice without it! I'm intrested in it mainly for the cerification as some teaching shops like it when you have it and it helps when marketing your skills 🙄 .Funny you mentioned playing cards! I'm well versed in the back story of Tarot, I read with playing cards from time to time if they're around! Tallahasse is BEAUTIFUL! You should give it a second chance if you're every around here! The government here is very serious about tree conservation and it shows! The air is clear, people are friendly and curious, and animals are everywhere! It's a nice spot for meditation! I've been in and out of Miami for art festivals where I'd vend with my wife and,although it's a vibrant city, the people weren't as receptive in my opinion. Though that could be because I look like a certified weirdo when I'm out in the world😂😂😂. I'm happy you are well!!

The same teaching shops that sell the certifications?

I haven't looked into this particular aspect of numerology, but it's fairly common with Tarot. People tend to look askance at those things. Reading cards has no standardized  teaching method to adhere to, nor do certification studies lead to any "official" status, the way a state certification in, say, counseling would. At best, it's unnecessary. At worst, it can be a pyramid scam and/or a cartel attempting to use sham certifications and standards to destroy business rivals.

None of this is intended to imply that people should not take courses, by the way. Courses are fine, but they should be done with the intent of adding to ones' reading acumen, not in order to get "certifications."

 

Anyway, that's how they're generally viewed in the Tarot milieu. With numerology it could be different, I have no idea.

Tallahassee?!?! *gasp* I lived there for 10 years. That place really grew on me and I was so sad to leave. I miss it terribly!!!

stop you are making me miss Tallahassee so much more lol!! ❤️ I am glad you are enjoying it there. It is beautiful and there are loads of parks. The tree canopy roads are some of the coolest things about Tallahassee!
