The daughter of a friend of mine has shown some interest in Tarot cards so I went looking for kid-friendly decks and came across this printable tarot deck.

It follows the RWS imagery but the imagery uses clipart-type figures and is more upbeat and quirky. Having said that 10S is still a figure with 10 swords in his back, and Death is still the Grim Reaper, but a more cutesy version. (See below). There is less detail than in the RWS cards; the cards are stripped down to their main symbols. Less overwhelming for children, perhaps, depending on their age.

 

There is also a 41-page manual to accompany the deck (and it's free to dowload) that shows full colour images beside the explanatory text.

LOL, yes, it's CAD which turned out to be just over 1 Aussie dollar. :) It's a cute deck, and I've got the time on my hands now to print the deck, paint/decorate the backs and round the corners. :D
