Improvology Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 About me: I am a musician with a love of jazz music, and huge fan of the arts, specifically acting and improv. I am very new to tarot but have always been fascinated with playing cards and board games. My last obsession just so happened to be trick taking card games and little did I know that the tarot is not too far off, looks like there are a bunch of trump cards and a bunch of pip cards. I am quite excited to dive in and I hope to meet many awesome people but I dream to be in a small circle of friends one day that can talk about all this stuff that I find really interesting. If any of you know of any local meetups or groups that meet in person in the Pittsburgh/cranberry area it would be awesome to meet some people and hopefully build a network. My dreams are to really know myself and have a very grounded sense of self and spirituality, being like Water as Bruce Lee has said, and being strong for myself and my future family one day. Dream Job? Boardgame Designer. I have played soo many boardgames in college and out of college and its something I am really passionate about. I love being inspired by game mechanics and taking things to the drawing board and having them play tested with my small group of friends. Social Deduction games like Werewolf and Mafia and the games that hit home for me, I am currently thinking about trying to come up with a social deduction trick taking game, or a trick traitor game. I have yet to go to the drawing board with this idea but I am hoping to learn how to condense and hone in my wild ideas and hopefully package a product where I can make a living and do what I love and build community. What I am looking for here: I am looking to belong to a community, and to grow in my understanding of myself and how the tarot can be used in different ways and settings.
