Tarot de Paris

geoxena

Tarot de Paris by J. Philip Thomas.  Several editions were made, from different publishers (images uploaded here are from the 3rd edition Thomas published himself, after having numerous problems with prior publishers).

78-card deck.  Images are montages made from photographs taken by Thomas of the architecture, momuments, and statues of Paris.  Cards are quite oversized and may be hard to handle by people with small hands.

Japanese edition here: tarotdeparis.com/shop-japan

Original English editions are OOP, but may be available at used/discount bookstores and eBay.

Oh. I'm experiencing a case of mistaken identity. I clicked, because I expected one of the historical 16th and 17th century decks from Paris, and this is something else.
