I can't believe I'm just now stumbling upon this forum! I was on Aeclectic for years and learned so much through those forums. When they shut down I was devastated; I searched for other forums and tried facebook groups but nothing ever felt the same. So heeeeey! I'm Kristin from Laguna Beach, California. I'm 38 and have been reading tarot since my teens. I remember hiding my very first deck because my parents were strict Christians and I didn't want to get in trouble. Can anybody else relate? 😬 Continued in comments because there's a 100 word limit?...

You can call me Luna Iris Violetta! (Or just Luna) I was looking for witch forums, and came across this site! I usually work with crystals, but I dabble in tarot and palm reading. I'm excited to talk to some other witches/pagan/wicca! (I personally do not identify as pagan or wicca, just a witch)

I met SaturnCeleste over on Scribophile about a year ago. At that time I was already posting Tarot themed writing challenge prompts on my blog so it was really exciting to meet someone else that also found Tarot to be useful in writing, not just in personal readings. She recently mentioned over there about this site as a good place to learn more about Tarot. So here I am. I'm hoping to develop my reading skills with Tarot more. Not just for myself, but for others as well. Don't know what else to say other than I hope to be helpful and uplifting to people.

Howdy! I found this forum back in January and I was very excited to become involved. I got into Tarot when I was 13 and studied for a few years before getting pulled to the more... physical aspects of our lives' journey you could say 😄 But upon finding this forum I knew I was being called back to the cards. I just haven't had a deck in years so I was not able to offer much substance to the conversations here. Last month I was able to acquire a deck that really spoke to me from a vendor at a pagan festival known to me as my second home and since then I have been reading and studying with a newly instilled passion! I love these cards and I love my deck! I've foun…

I'm not sure how to write an introduction, but I'll try. My mother taught me tarot when I was a young girl. She gave me her first deck (a Universal Waite) when I was a teenager. It is still my favorite. Tarot has been a practice for reflection and guidance, especially when I get stuck, feel lost, or wonder about the future. I've done some readings for friends over the years, but there aren't many people in my life who share this interest. So, I look forward to sipping tea and talking tarot here. 🙂

Hi, guys! I’ve been searching for an online space where I can share thoughts & knowledge about tarot and I ended up finding this forum. I’m happy I did! I got into tarot recently, so I’m still learning the basic stuff while doing readings only for myself and my close friends. I’m excited to learn more with you all! 🙂 Happy new year!

Dear community! I have been learning to read tarot for whole two days now. Some might find it a bit too short, but I can assure you, I already have questions and need guidance. I have always been very intuitive and spiritual, since I was a young teenager I've been trying to expand my consciousness and my world. Now, at 40, I bought a deck of cards, and later found out you're not supposed to buy them yourself, but I feel really good about it. Looking forward to meeting new friends! Love, A.

Hello all. I'm mthx, I started reading tarot a while ago, still a newbie, but gaining more intuition as time passes. I read Riders Wait and have a lot of questions. I think I posted on the wrong topic first, sorry for that, can I delete my post?

Hi everyone, It's so lovely to see such a vibrant and welcoming community here! Just introducing myself, I am very new to posting in forums but I'm after a way to learn other than the very rigid and generalised card interpretations you find on websites, they're useful and have their place but without the fluidity and interactivity that you can find in connecting with experienced and knowledgeable readers who have been "in the trenches"! Within the last year, I have rediscovered my old teenage tarot deck and now, with more life experience, I've fallen back in love with reading for myself and have been leaning on the cards heavily of late, it's been i…

Hi! I'm new and shy. xD I know practically nothing about tarot cards except for the six cards I'm making myself. I have a friend in here as well who invited me to this place, and I'm making my own tarot deck as said above. ;D I am a eclectic witch and therian so don't bother if I seem weird at times. xD (Regarding the therian part) :P See ya!

Hello, My internet handle is Wolf. I'm an X AT lurker who took some time off (and came back to everything shut down!) After looking at the other options this place seemed to be the most inviting and welcoming to Thoth....so I am glad to be here.

My name is Jolene and I'm very happy to have found this lovely forum. I'm a beginner tarot reader. I actually started around 20 years ago, ended up taking a break and recently got started again. I remember very little from when I started learning so I'm pretty much a total newbie. I'm hoping to get better at seeing the bigger picture that the cards tell and how they can work together to better understand the messages they are giving. <3

Hello! I just joined and am happy to be here. I've read, mostly for myself, for thirty years or so. Learned on RWS. Now my go-to deck is Everyday Witch. I'm always learning. Will be very interested in discussions here.

Hello! I go by Liadan, or Lia, online. I just recently got my first tarot deck, Linestrider. I've done 3 readings for myself so far. A couple 3 card spreads and a single card draw. I first try to intuitively read the images and then look up the card meanings after making my initial interpretation. I'm just looking for a community where I can ask my questions of ignorance. Google search just isn't cutting it and I greatly enjoy bouncing ideas and thoughts off others. I've noticed with many things I get tunnel vision and find it helpful to get others perspectives so as to broaden my own view and understanding. Any tips for a beginner would be apprec…

Hi all, Having punched through 50 years of life's outrageous sling and arrows, I've racked up a broad, if eclectic, catalog of skills, interests, and pursuits. I've always been inclined to discover things for myself, with the Internet my most valued resource in the toolbox. With that in mind, I'm kinda stunned to announce that Tea, & Me is my first forum membership for anything - ever. I am not surprised that I'm surprised to find my first forum is something esoteric. I've arrived with questions - obviously. And I'm particularly keen on input from experienced members and those interested. Schooled in the traditions of reciprocity (thanks Mum an…

I am a 40 something year old mother from SW Canada. I got my first tarot deck in 2004. The Gilded Tarot. I was interested in it for a bit but felt overwhelmed by the various meanings and interpretations. I have picked it up off and on over the years, more as a self meditation tool and admiration for the invoking imagery than for reading for anyone else. I always feel like I'm looking for THE deck that I will be able to read with. I'll find a deck then something throws me off - some sort of OCD with associations etc. Though over the years the foundational meanings sort of naturally come now I need to learn how to be more intuitive. I have literally sat with a celtic cross …

Hi! I've read tarot cards for more than 20 years. I like reading combinations and full spreads before separate card reading. I studied visual rhetoric and archetypes in grad school and that's how I read. Looking for like-minded friends who also love reading tarot and talking about it.

My name is Natasha. I just found this forum and very excited to join in. I have been interested in Tarot for some time, but it wasn't until this year that I began to really get into it. I am a massage therapist by proffession, so I already use my intuition on a regular basis. I am also interested in Oracle cards and have begun collecting a couple of decks both in tarot and oracle. I look forward to deepening my understanding of the cards and learning more about myself with their help.

Hi to everyone on here! I'm new to Tarot - thought about it for years, but recently took the plunge, and have been obsessed ever since. I guess my interest came off the back of a bit of a rough period - and it's working for me. I've always been into spiritual matters, even recently attending some meets with a medium, etc. Looking to learning as much as I can on here - there is so much - but I'm loving the challenge and am just totally fascinated!

Hello I'm a new witch here. I was looking for some new witchy forums and I found this. I work always alone with my crystals, powers and magic stones. I'm depressed so maybe sometimes I may need someone who can understand me and help me. I hope I'll be happy here on this site. 🙂
