I am a 50+ year old tarot reader/teacher who had taken a long hiatus from the Internet (and too many other things) due to health and wellness issues. I'd been active in the AT community off and on but not when it closed down in 2017. A few weeks ago, I found myself re-energized to make tarot a core part of my life once more. I chose a new online name as part of the "rebirthing". Nothing nefarious, I'm just not the same person I was inside or outside a decade ago when I was most active at AT. Despite the crazy that is 2020 in general, I feel like I'm embarking on a very exciting path. It was with great delight that I discovered the existence of this forum tonigh…

Hello! I'm Sarah and I've been reading tarot for about 11 years. I took a break due to some heavy life stuff and now I feel rusty in my skills lol I'm glad to have found this forum and I can't wait to get to know you all. 😊

Hi, I’ve been reading tarot for about 9 years. I’ve been doing it casually just to work through little “feelings” I would get about things or situations. I look forward to getting a better understanding of intuitively reading cards

Hi, everyone! I've been using Tarot and oracle cards for about 3 years now, but never did a formal or in-depth study. It's great to be here among folks with a shared interest, and I'm delighted to learn more and share my observations.

Hello everyone! I'm Cybele, I got introduced to the tarot by a friend of mine back in 2015 when he gave me a reading. I started professionally reading the tarot back in 2020 after practicing for years. I've always been interested in the tarot and divination and general and right now I'm using the tarot for my writing amongst other things. :) I hope to share some of my writing and spreads in this forum and hopefully I could collaborate and help others in the same way tarot has helped me. I look forward to learning from you all!

Some of you may remember me from Aeclectic, where I was also known as Annabelle. Honestly, the lost of Aeclectic was so emotionally devastating for me that it's taken a long while for me to be ready to be active in any other forum. But I'm very glad to be here! My tarot collection continues to grow and is now over 900 decks. And my recent obsession is reading with Marseille style decks, especially the Noblet.

Hello, I'm Dinocanid and I've been into tarot for about 5 years now. I'm not exactly sure why I started, but it was probably out of curiosity. Due to my current living situation I can't own a physical deck, so I've been using phone apps for my readings. Galaxy Tarot: The first one I used when I was just starting out. I eventually stopped using it because I didn't like how it locked spreads behind a paywall Golden Thread Tarot: The one I've been using for the last 3 years. I absolutely love it, and I like how I can log readings that were particularly important to me. I've done some free readings in the past as a hobby, although I'm still…

Hello to you. I’m new here, very happy to find you as the closing of ATF left a big hole. In fact I sort of put my cards to rest at that moment. I’ve pulled them out a few times over the years and now look forward to renewing my relationship with them and finding new friends here. See you on the boards, Poly

Hi, my name is eightofwands. I am a newbie to tarot. I basically started a few days ago. I am/was a writer by hobby, and I wanted to strengthen my intuition to help it. When looking up ways to improve intuition, one way was to use tarot. I know tarot is used in self-care, so I imagine this was in a similar vein. I already had a (very cute) deck in my possession, so why not. I don't know how much I can contribute, but I'll do my best. Nice to meet you.

I'm a tarot reader and currently traveling around the US (heading back to Oregon soon!) I've been reading tarot since I was 16 on and off (this time been a reader for my job since 2016.) I love reading tarot but find it difficult to read for myself when emotions or frustration are involved so I come to connect with people for exchanges and to learn about others interpretations and improve my skills here! I am honestly feeling a bit lonely as my travels have gone on for 1.5years over several states now so looking to connect with more people I relate to as I stay the winter in Texas before I head back closer to the coast in spring. Anywa…

I suppose I should make one of these....I never make these... Anyway, hello everybody! I wandered over from AT (even though I never posted on there, I'm definitely more of a lurker) but thought I'd try to start out by not hiding in my new home(s)^^

Hello guys! I am another AT expat! I used to be readings.by.mia there, but for those of you who don't know me (In case anyone does!) Let me introduce myself. I am a Tarot snob, been called that so many times that I have just decided to own it! Besides, I am Tarobsessed! I have a Victoria Regina on its way to my hands, which is a Tarot achievement I am quite proud of :P I live with my partner, I have two kitties, 76 decks and a Tarot business! Besides Tarot, I enjoy reading, writing, eating, hanging out and I am a very social person always willing to make new friends, in spite of my snobbery! So looking forward to learn more about you guys!

Hi everyone, I'm so excited to join this community and having great conversations and insights about Tarot! I've been a student of the Tarot for a little over 20 years; like many others express, when i held my first tarot deck, it felt so familiar, like meeting an old friend from another time. In my day to day life, i offer readings here and there, and love doing it,and yet my primary use of Tarot is for my own personal development. Can't wait to get to know everyone!

I've been feeling really good about my personal tarot practice lately, finally. I'm no professional but I've been doing tarot for 15+ years, a bit on and off, but I've always had my decks with me. I'm in one of my buying phases, I tend to buy decks in batches. 3 on order (2 pre-order and not getting here until September) and I just found out about a Kickstarter starting next month that I can't pass up! So of course there's another deck up for pre-order right now that I have to skip and just hope for the future.. And I think I'll stay away from that enabler forum 🙂

Hello, all! I'm coming from Aeclectic Tarot Forum and checking out the sites! Here's to watching this community grow! EDIT: I've decided to add some things about myself so that people could get to know me better. I'm 28 years old and am from Western New York. I'm married and have 3 fur-babies: a black cat named Osiris, a Siberian Husky named Angel, and an Alaskan Malamute named Titan. I went to school for Social Work and Psychology. I would consider myself an Eclectic Pagan and am interested in all things Pagan/Wiccan, witchcraft, magick, and esoteric. Some of my other interests and hobbies are: books, reading, writing, sociology, religion, human nature, The …

Hello, all! I love the name of this forum. One can never have too much tea, says I. I always brew up a cup while preparing to do a reading. I work with oracle systems (mahjong and I Ching) but I am a complete newbie with the tarot. I just picked up The Raven's Prophecy deck recently and I have much to learn. I've always been interested in Eastern culture, hence why I was drawn to the Eastern oracles as mentioned above. One of the challenges I had when choosing a tarot deck was the heavy prevalence of human imagery in the tarot. Somehow that didn't speak to me. The deck I finally settled on focuses on imagery of ravens, roses, and human hands. Once I learn the ta…
