Hello! Excited to jump into this forum. I’ve been studying tarot for about three years- history, usage, meaning, application, art- and feel really confident in my abilities to read individual cards for myself and for others. I’ve received a lot of positive feedback that supports my readings are on track, which is great. But I continue to struggle with combination cards, and my confidence level isn’t there yet. So I’m looking forward to learning more about how to craft those stories. 🧡

Hello, wonderful readers, old and new. I fall in the "old" category myself, as I have been reading Tarot cards for 50 years. For me, Tarot is more of an avocation than a full time job, but occasionally I get a strong sense that there is someone "out there" who needs a reading. When this happens, I set up at a table in a local coffee shop and wait for that certain "someone" to come by. It is so satisfying to be able to provide the guidance he/she/they/them needs at just the right time in his/her/their lives.

Hello admired Tarot readers!! I've been learning Tarot full-time since August, and I'm totally hooked. It's been fascinating, and it's been a journey. A while back, a fellow learner showed me the book she was using, and it seemed pretty complicated. I thought it wasn't for me, but I guess it just wasn't my time. But this August, I had a lightbulb moment: "It's time to learn!" So, I got my first RWS deck, read a bunch of books, and started with Mastering the Tarot by Eden Gray. I felt quite bereft last night on finding AT was gone, even though I'd not visited for a while. I was also ilweran there. Feeling more optimistic now I've discovered there are other friendly looking places to join and the possibility of finding some of the people I knew! Anyway, I've been collecting and/or reading for something like 20 odd years now, though not so much in the last five since I had my son. I've been away so long that it's time to reintroduce myself 👋. Had a three year break from the forum to avoid any deck temptation while saving for our leap onto the ol' property ladder. Moved into our beautiful place in September and have started going through my decks this week to try and weed them a bit... but got hooked again like a fishy 😅.
