Hello! I'm brand new to tarot. Well, mostly; I had a deck when I was a kid that I dabbled with a little bit and found intriguing. It's been lost to the sands of time across multiple moves and a couple decades at this point. My wife and I were on vacation recently and we were exploring a cute little downtown nestled in the mountains a few hours from where we live. We walk into a crystal shop. While neither of us are into that stuff at all, she finds the crystals pretty to look at. I was struck by an enormous tarot display in the back of the store. Hello! I'm Sammirae, or Sam for short, and I've only been using Tarot for a little over a year now. Recently, I have also been exploring more into Oracle and Lenormand cards as well! Outside of cards, I am a 23 year old digital artist who recently graduated with a degree in Animation! I'm also a huge animal lover and love spending time with my pets! Warm greetings. You can call me Marigold. I fell in love with the Tarot of Marseilles many many many years ago. It is still my greatest Tarot love, although the Osho Zen, the Oswald Wirth as well as the Lasenic are high up on my list. The latter fills me with wonder and I use it more for contemplation than for readings. I don't read and study as much as I used to. But every now and again, I get drawn back to the cards and their hidden meanings and symbolism and journey through them. I look forward to meeting everyone here in good time.

Hello, I’m Norik. I’ve been reading tarot for about three years now, mostly for myself. I actually learned on a deck of cards and only recently got an actual tarot deck (and then another two decks after that… you know how it is). I’ve even more recently committed to doing tarot readings every day to try to hone my intuition and expand my knowledge of the cards. I’d say I’m kind of a mix of intuitive reading and a more technical style. Since I learned on playing cards, I had to improvise somewhat when it came to card meanings, and I’m now working on building more comprehensive definitions from the foundations I’ve established. Hello friends. I'm so happy to find a real life traditional forum 🙂 I was on Aeclectic for only a short while before it shut down and that was when I was dabbling with tarot. I'm back and really making some headway learning, so I'm excited to find this awesome forum to hang out with you guys. My favourite decks are ones that are rich in symbolism (e.g. Gilded Royale). There's so many that I have on my wishlist, but I'm trying to be tactical about which ones I buy. I can probably say the same for tarot books! Trying to really use the ones I have for now, and not just buy all the ones that look good. That's it for now! Looking forward to connecting.
