Hello! It’s a pleasure to be here with you all. I was a long-time lurker on AT, and was very bummed when it was closed. However, I was very pleased to run across this forum and it’s group of kind, helpful, knowledgable people—everything I liked about AT! This time, though, I think it best if I lurk less and be involved more. 🙂 I’m a transplant to the Midwest from NYC. Back there, I used to read regularly for others for quite a few years (never close to full-time, though—I’m in wild envy of those of you that have this as your career.) Here in the Midwest… it’s a different story due to a different breed of folks than I’m used to. Even at the odd “tarot party” boo…

Hi there! You can call me Mim or Michele. I live in the middle of nowhere and I'm in my early 30s. I already know how to use Lenormand cards, but I'm starting to get into tarot and playing cards. I'm very interested in learning how to read the French Tarot, which has different cards from the more widespread tarot. I can't seem to find much information about them beyond the actual table game. I bought an older deck that really spoke to me, so I'm sure there's something out there. A pleasure to meet you!

I just joined up. So, about me. I have been reading tarot for about 25 years now, and even read professionally for a short time. There are a bunch of decks in my collection, but my main deck, and the one I read with professionally, is the Robin Wood deck. To be fair, I set my cards aside for a few years after my first Robin Wood deck was stolen. I owned a shop and someone lifted them from me. After I lost that deck I had a terrible time connecting to another. I even bought another Robin Wood deck but I couldn't connect to it. We seem to be making nice lately, and there's another deck I am starting to connect to as well that I've had forever, but I need to spe…

Hello everyone! I have been studying and learning tarot for a few years...glad to be here and learn more.

Hi hello good day! I am never good with these introductions, so please bear with me. I am Alegretto, the not so great and powerful! I am fairly new to tarot, though I’ve had an interest in it for a very long time. Not sure why it took me so long to finally pick up a deck and take the plunge, but here we are! I’ve been working on learning and expanding my knowledge, so I have come to learn from all you wonderful people and the vast pools of knowledge that have been compiled here.

Hello everyone! I'm Aleister, I've been doing tarot for about ten years but I only began seriously studying it when I graduated college a while ago. I joined this forum as a way to immerse myself better in people interested in the cards the way that I am, that is passionately and spiritually. My main deck for now is the Waite-Smith but I hope to expand someday to others. Right now I'm working on getting in the habit of doing readings and such. It seems I have a word limit so that's all from me! Nice to meet you all!

This is not my first time being interested in tarot. However, it is my first time in many years. I was always drawn to it even as a little girl, always trying to see my mother's deck. Unfortunately, I lost touch with that part of myself and am on a path back to tarot and the magic behind it. I am also interested in magic and want to use tarot as a part of my rituals. The original Rider Waite is my favorite deck, although I have owned many types. I prefer this deck because I enjoy the symbols, art, and simplicity of it. I can not wait to relearn so much of what I have lost.

Hi, never been very active online before, but been reading and studying Tarot for years. I'm an intuitive reader, took a break from doing readings after a personal trauma and have been using my readings as a part of my recovery. I'm starting to do readings for strangers and friends to learn, with the hopes of one day being able to read professionally and help others the way I felt Tarot helped me. I've been having really incredible readings lately and have been wanting to share my experiences with people since I don't have a large community in "real life", so here I am! 🙂

Hello, everyone! I joined recently and finally managed to post my introduction. Please call me Aquilla. I started my tarot journey not long ago so I'm a complete novice. I look forward to improving my skills and expanding my knowledge. To be frank, I'm quite shy but I'll do my best to join in conversations instead of keeping to myself. Also, English isn't my native language. I apologize for any mistakes that I might inadvertently commit. 🙂

Hi everybody! I'm quite excited to have found this forum. What with the advent of FB, it seems these types of forums are few and far between. My name is Anne and I've been reading the cards (mainly for myself, but also family and friends) for a while now. I bought my first deck back in 1994 as a not-so-serious teenager, the Sacred Rose Tarot. I'm now thoroughly into the original Smith-Waite deck and nerding-out studying its deep symbology. I adore Pamela's artwork. I look forward to perusing and seeing what's what around here and meeting you all. Cheers!

Hello tarot lovers! I am new to the forum, my name is Leila and i live in Montenegro. I love tarot and divination systems. Have being studying the I ching for quite some time now. Since I was little i have being told by several people that i should work with bio energy or something concerning healing energy. I never went too far to discover what i can really do with it until a very disturbing and weird thing happened to me in 2022. Long story short i recognized it is my ultimate call to embrace my journey and start working with the abilities that i have. I started by attending seminars on Theta healing and studying the tarot and oracle cards. At th…

Hi everyone! I'm a tarot reader and creator, I’m typing from Italy, and I’ve been reading Tarot cards for almost 15 years now! For a while, I even worked as a reader for a company in the field — mostly just to try something different. I thought it would be fun, and it turned out to be a wild experience! People from all over Italy would call me — all kinds of people, really — and it gave me a lot to reflect on. I studied philosophy at university, and I love stories — both listening to real ones, because they’re always meaningful, and creating imaginative ones that can still offer something valuable. Nice to meet you all! 💫😊

Hello everyone - I retired from work almost nine months ago and have slowly been working out what to do next. One thing I'm doing is developing my writing and I'm using Tarot again to help a little with this. Have been a constant tarot user for about 15 years and have about 40 decks but some are locked away so I'm not sure of the exact number. I have apps which I use most days but am returning to the actual cards now that there is time. In various attempts to declutter, I've given a lot of decks away over the years. I have belonged to some Facebook Tarot Forums but left Facebook itself about six months ago. I love Ellen Lorenzi Prince's decks, especially Tar…

I'm more of a lurker than a poster atm. I am "Maru" from AT, but I don't think many people know me from there as I wasn't a heavy poster even then... Anyway, just wanted to make my introduction. I will probably be in readings section every now and then helping people with their readings. Long-term goals: I'd like to make a Tarot Deck in the future. I'm also write web-applications, so I have a strong thought about making a Tarot reading cataloguing system. Here's praying for the future and that my time here will be a good one <3
