Hello! My interest in Tarot started about 8 years ago during a difficult time in my life. I didn't really do much with it since then until a year ago after I went through a major upheaval in my life. That's when my spiritual journey really kicked into overdrive, it feels like. So I've been diving back into Tarot since then and even more so this last month. My interest in other areas such as meditation, runes, astrology, and so on has increased exponentially as well. So here I am! I look forward to this journey!

I was a new member at AT who really loved the community there, and had only been there a month before the community announcement. Wow! These posts are always awkward for me. I never know what to say and feel it always sounds silly or contrived. So let’s start out with 3 truths and 3 falsehoods about me and see if you can ascertain which is which I live in New York in a tiny shoebox apartment I get anxiety if my coffee cup gets low Without my morning can of Mt Dew my day sucks Im a crazy cat lady I have a suicidally inclined dog Going tiny and traveling from festival to festival reading cards is a dream of mine. Now nothing but the truth Im a retired witch who lives with her 2 poms and bewildered hubby. I’ve recently gone back on a “I will l…

  8. Eidolon
    Started by Eidolon,

Hello there everyone! I'm Eidolon, though most of my online friends call me Eido or Alice. Either is fine! My pronouns are she/her or they/them. I've been reading tarot and oracle cards for just a little over five years now, mostly casually with friends and family, though I've occasionally done paid readings at bars and parties for a little extra cash. The rest of the time, I'm a freelance graphic designer, writer, and gamer (both video and tabletop)... though I don't get paid for that last one (unfortunately!). I also read plenty of books, smother all the neighborhood dogs (and my roommate's cats) with loving attention, and spend lots of time listening to music. I'm…

    Started by Eugenie,

Hi, my name is Eugenie, I might be the only one here from Uzbekistan. It is in Central Asia, next to Afghanistan, and it used to be a part of the Soviet Union. My mother tongue is Russian so please forgive me if my English is clumsy sometimes or if I misunderstand something. A completely newbie to Tarot, I would like to learn both RWS and TdM. Presently trying to read several books at once, maybe not the best idea. I live with my husband, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, three cats and lots of chickens and many trees. I am a Fayerie Traditionalist learning how to apply the Old Ways to modern life.

I’m here to deepen my practice, learn new spreads, and connect with other people who share a love for tarot. I’m especially interested in symbolism, intuition, spirituality, energy, witchcraft and more. I’m really looking forward to engaging with everyone here and learning from each of you. Started by Kiki,

Hi, i’m Kiki from Bulgaria (that’s why my english is not very good). My tarot cards found me an year ago and from that point i was fascinated and curious to learn more. I think i’m doing well for my short experience. Sometimes, when reading for myself, i get quite self-conscious , thinking that i am subconsciously altering my sight on the reading , so i think searching for opinions and discovering new points of view will be very beneficial for me. So happy to see and explore this community.❤️

    Started by Ephemeridae,

Hey there, I'm Nik I've been studying independently since October, so nearly a year. I only have one deck, the Tarot Mucha, but lurking around here I have accumulated quite a long wish list ;D Ephemeridae is a family of borrowing mayflies. Mayflies are symbolically significant to me and I picked a burrowing mayfly for my username because I am really shy about sharing my enthusiasm for Tarot to people in real life. So, my tarot-life happens under a rock (so to speak). I am an environmental chemist by trade, and also the mother of two girls and one girl-cat I am excited to be here, to learn and to grow in my practice, to try readings with other people, and ho…

Hi everyone! My name is Aurora Moone, and I absolutely love tarot and tea! My favorite deck is Legacy of the Divine, and my favorite tea is anything with either catnip or passion flower tea! I've been reading tarot for 22 years, and it's just such a fun way to easily connect to the little strands of ether that lead us down trails of knowledge! I'm excited to be around people that love this style of divination!

Hello, old friends and new. I finally got my password issues straightened out and made it on here. I see quite a few familiar faces from AT, it's good to see you again. Some of you have been to my blog, but if you haven't, I now have over 850 (mostly) short posts related to divination subjects, mainly tarot (both esoteric and mundane) and Lenormand, with a little astrology, geomancy and Kipper. I'm not selling anything there (or at least not so far), just sort of spewing whatever comes to mind on a daily basis. https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/

  20. Rodney
    Started by Rodney,

Hello everyone! Yes, I'm that Rodney. But that seems like a lifetime ago at this point. Now I'm just a regular collector and sometimes tarot reader/user. Lately I've been more focused on a deep dive into the I Ching, examining the structure of and connections between the hexagrams. I exchange readings IRL with a friend every month or so. I'm still using my double deck Transparent Tarot. I can't remember the last time I did an online exchange reading. I'm on two other tarot forums, although I'm nowhere near as active on either of them as I was on Aeclectic. I'm not sure how active I'll be here either, but I figured it was time I finally joined. I'm …

    Started by Willa_the_Wisp,

Hello everyone! My name is Willa. I've been interested in tarot, crystals and witchcraft for a long time, but have only recently started to use them. I suffer from some anxiety and low self esteem, so I always kind of felt that I had no business getting involved in these things. Like I wasn't good enough for them or would never be good at them. I'm trying really hard to be easier on myself though! I honestly think that they will help with all of the self doubt and negativity I'm feeling. I mainly joined this forum so that I can absorb as much information as possible about how to read tarot. I'm also hoping I'll be able to get so…

Hi there! I'm ME (like, M.E., not me) and I'm here under starwritten as an homage to my Tumblr (that is not my complete name there, and I will save that for the self-promotion area!). I've been looking for you all for so, so long. I don't really know how to go about this introduction, so I'm just going to dive right in. I'm a 23-year-old graduate student, and I'm in/from Appalachia, US. I've been familiar with divination for as long as I can remember, but I have only been studying divination actively since 2015. I did not enter into any formal practice of any kind until August 2018, so we are in the start of my second full year in my tarot journey!…

    Started by firepage,

Hey! Thought an introduction would be nice I'm a 27 year old page (one day hopefully queen) from Sweden who's been reading cards for about two years. Just started feeling comfortable knowing each card without always looking things up, but I still have a long way to go before I'm confident in my interpretations. None of my friends read tarot which is why I desperately need this 🙂 I have a feeling this is a good environment for learning and helping eachother out! Started by Reborn2020,

Good evening, This would be my first time getting into a tarot forum. I recently got my first deck about a week ago and began doing readings for myself after I had a sort of, I guess I would call it a spiritual awakening. It's been a very rewarding and eye opening experience. I've had tarot readings done before, but this would be the first time I've had my own deck. Looking forward to gaining some insight from everyone, and lending some of my own when I can!

    Started by espii,

Hello all! This is my first time joining a tarot forum, so I am stoked. Last time I joined a forum, it was Spyder's Empire poetry forum back in the day. The feedback there was great, and I hope to give and get here the same here. But for tarot (obvious, right?). I was gifted my first deck by a guy named Bob many moons ago (both "short time" and "many moons" being relative termsbut didn't like the vibes I got from them and bought my own shortly after.... I use Rider Waite deck, and look forward to being a here-when-I-can-be member of the community.
