Hello! I am Cyril, a beginner in reading tarot cards. I'm still learning how to read the cards fluently, though I already read most people accurately. Sadly, the tarot readers community here in the Philippines is underground so I dont have anyone to learn tarot with. I mostly learn reading online. I hope have new friends here to learn tarot with!

I've been dabbling in tarot and other divination methods since around 1998 but it didn't really start clicking until around 2007 - I listened to Dan Pelletier do an example reading with The Gothic Tarot of Vampires on Lisa ReFalo's Tarot Connection and I finally understood how to break the cards out of their dry LWB meanings. Hi everyone, I just found this forum *yay* after having done some search for one of my favorite decks (Shadowscapes Tarot). I'm a 'baby witch' and only discovered Tarot a few months ago (together with Oracle cards) but am already head over heels in love! <3 My collection quickly grew and I now try to learn Tarot & Oracle reading with all of them. Still not quite sure if I should just focus on one or two decks one at a time? Hello all - I am starting to dip my toes back into tarot after a number of years away. I was a prolific member of Aeclectic around the turn of the millennium. To say that experience was life-changing would be an understatement. I met my wife Laura (Gardener) through those boards, and together we had a child who has just turned 15. I'm new to this and can't wait to dip my toe in the water and hopefully dive in later once I have the confidence that I won't drown in self doubt. Three years ago I went to the local Ren Fest and my friend got me to sit for a reading. I was at a huge crossroads in my life and poured the options out to the person doing the reading. She was wonderful and the reading was intuitive, subtle and ultimately spot on. I have a horrible memory in these situations and she allowed me to record the session. I started learning on the Eclectic Tarot site years ago and just found this site today when doing some research. I live on land of the Coastal Salish, my heritage is Scandinavian and Eastern European, and my most recent learning is with runes and nordic ancestry and the Greenwood Tarot as its pre-celtic imagery resonates with me. So I guess a brief introduction for me is in order. First off, don't be fooled by my username, I am a complete and total tarot beginner (less than a year in). When I started, I found myself more interested in the historical aspects of tarot rather than the esoteric and wanted to create a website documenting my journey researching the topic. I started with this after i bought a box with tarot sets in a second hand shop. It told a lot about the former owner. She collected sets and bought sets when she was travelling. I did the same afterwards and off course always looking around for tarotsets in bookshops where ever i am. Even in Thailand i found a tarotset. In the 7/11 of all places!!
