Hi everyone! πŸ™‚ It's great to find such a broad and deep Tarot community here! It was 1979 when I got my first deck (the Swiss 1JJ that used to absolutely everywhere back then), and though I've bought many more since then, I'm still trying to improve my knowledge and fluency with the cards. I'm interested in Tarot history and esoteric decks.

I have been exploring my spirituality since early high school, however as I have entered my early 20’s I have started to delve in deeper! I am currently trying to deepen my understanding of tarot in order to become a more proficient reader for myself and others, which is a huge reason I joined this beautiful lil community!! I am also beginning to learn astrology + how to read natal charts, which has been super awesome so far! Anyways, I love chatting and making new friends so please feel free to chat me up!! Much love, Whaleson

Hi everyone - it’s really good to be here. I love tarot and have been β€˜dabbling’ for a few years now (due to having a busy hectic life have never been able to devote enough time to learning properly) but since we have been in lockdown I have had some time on my hands and I have been able to really get back into it. I am not experienced in the slightest but am really willing to learn πŸ™‚ I don’t know anyone who is interested or knowledgable in tarot so am hoping to be able to make some friends on here and ask for some cheeky advice when I need it. At the moment I am learning by reading for myself every day with a daily spread and also reading the …

Hi everyone, I've been reading tarot and lenormand for about three years and I'm interested in learning more. I am very grateful to the friend that introduced me to card reading and helped me get my first deck. I'm excited talk to other people about card reading and look forward to talking more with all of you. My other interests are writing poetry (tarot gives me a lot of inspiration for that), sewing, and secular witchcraft.

Aloha! I'm Maya, Since I was very young I have been drawn to the mystery of the cards and their ability to provide insight into the unknown. With each card drawn and each message I receive, I feel as if I am uncovering a part of myself I never knew before. The tarot has been an invaluable tool to help me navigate life’s ups and downs and make decisions that are aligned with my highest good. As part of my ongoing journey with the tarot, I am excited to engage with like-minded individuals who share my love of this ancient practice.

I'm new to the forum. I've been on a tarot break for a few years and I'm just starting to get back into using cards again. So many beautiful decks have been created in my absence. I used to be a member of aeclectic tarot forum for quite a few years, so was sad to see it no longer exists. This is how I found this forum. Anyway, I'm looking forward to joining reading circles again and talking tarot with like minded people!.

Hi, I’m Em. I began my tarot journey in my teens, circa 1995, but put the cards down for many years. I only picked them back up in the autumn of 2022, as some very big transitions in my life in the previous years seemed to all be coming to a head. I needed answers, and so I decided to devote time every morning to learning to read the cards and energies. I’ve been reading my own tarot every morning ever since. It didn’t take long before I knew tarot was going to be a big theme in my life. I’m glad to have found this place to talk tarot with others and continue to learn even more. Thanks for having me.

Hi everyone! What a tiring week it has been! After many days of not knowing where to go, trying to post on the Cartomancy forum where a lot of people have migrated, still cheking out new posts on AT and trying to savage everything I could, having problems registering on here... well it finally worked out and I'm here at last! I really like the visual of the forum and I saw that many nice people have joined as well. *Waving hi* to Rose Lalonde and Maenifold who I know are already here and started a new thread for the 'self-made' oracle daily draws! Also *waving* to Little Fang/Obsydian who assisted me when my registration was not working out and who gracefully offere…

I picked up a Tarot deck for the first time a year and a half ago when I was 51. Things like Tarot cards had never been on my radar, but I was critiquing a story that featured them, and I suddenly felt compelled to learn the cards. Like, I was obsessed. I learned the Rider-Waite cards and basic spreads in a few months, just in time to help me foresee and cope with the death of my 86 year-old mother, whom I was caregiving in my home at the time. If I hadn't been pulling the cards to have a heads-up, my mom's last hours would not have been pretty. I truly credit the Tarot (and Saturn Celeste - she helped me learn so much) for providing my mother with a love-filled passing. …

Hello~ I'm pretty new to tarot. I've had two readings in the past by others professionally, but I'm not very experienced. I skirted around the idea of buying my own deck for a while, even playing around with a deck of cards as a substitute, but finally brought two decks last week. I often can't see the wood for the trees so I like to use them as prompts to see things I may be missing and to get me out of my head. Still getting used to the cards and learning to read them. Hope to learn lots while I'm here :)

Hello, everyone! I am grateful to have found this community board. I cannot now for the life of me remember what username I used over at AT, but I was one of the last members to have joined in before it was shut down. I think I was on it only for a few months. But what precious few months those were. I truly deepened my respect for and knowledge of the Tarot during that time. And while I am a member of an active FB group, sometimes the interface of social media allows for too much slick retorts and un-thought-out comments and so helpful points are lost. A community board like this, I feel, is still ideal for Tarot readers to come together as a community. …

Hi everyone, This isn't my first time here but I've participated so little and it's been two years since I've been here so I might as well say hi again. I've been into tarot for about 10 years. I discovered this place shortly after discovering the term "secular tarot" which describes my approach (basically psychology over supernatural). I believe in the supernatural I just don't use tarot that way. I was lamenting the fact that there aren't many spaces to talk about tarot. Tarot spaces on social media tend to get flooded with daily pulls and ****. Then I remembered this place exists so I popped back in. Glad to see it's still active!

I miss the forum aspect of internet life and I was so disappointed when AT closed the forum, though grateful the archive exists. I fell out of reading practice due to life stuff and I'm so happy to be back again and dust off my decks. I look forward to learning from all of you!
