Hi Folks: Walter here - I live in Victoria BC Canada and have had tarot cards for at least 35 years. I was reintroduced to more tarot activity with a wonderful online conference run from this city last year where there were evening sessions (at least two a night?) for wednesday thursday and friday and all day saturday and sunday - it was a tarot immersion and I got back into things and I've been hooked ever since. I've been with another community doing 'Free Tarot Readings' which has upped my game considerably - I'm faster and getting reasonably accurate (I think!) results - and the feedback has been quite good (friends caution that many clients f…

Hello fellow Tarot Readers.. Wishing you all many Blessings. I am pleased to be part of this online community. I’ve been connected to the Spiritual world since I was little.. It’s something that has never left me. Anything I have done in life, has somehow always lead me back to this. As I have gotten older, I have realised how important the Spiritual world is to me, and how much it can teach an individual. In my life I am yet to learn many things, but if one thing is for sure, having a strong influence and background in this realm has made me aware of many things and given me the constant desire to do and be better in this world and to …

It's great to find a tarot forum at last! I have had tarot cards since i was in my early 20s and have dipped in and out of them over the years......lots of years actually......but I realized about a month ago that I actually had 10 different decks although if anyone had asked me i would have said that I wasn't into tarot. Yep weird. So, I've faced up to the fact that I am a lover of tarot and probably always will be and have joined the forum to help me understand and guide me on my journey - plus I've just ordered 3 new decks to celebrate my newly realized tarot passion. I look forward to meeting you all! Nell

Hello, I'm CuppaTea. πŸ™‚ I found the forum a few days ago and thought it was time to introduce myself before poking around some more. I'm definitely still learning my way around the place. I'm in Colorado, and first started exploring tarot about 20 years ago(!), but have only recently started doing more than just exploring and playing a bit on occasion. I'm now on a deep dive to learn the cards inside and out and read and learn from other folks.

New to this forum, but not to tarot. Been reading since I was a teenager (many MANY years ago), though there was a period of about 10 years where I wasn't. Since starting up again a few years ago, I enjoy reading tarot even more than ever (perhaps because being of a mature age allows for more insights than when I was a young'n). I have gotten great feedback on my readings, and am looking into doing it professionally. I am totally an intuitive reader. I also have had the ideas for a deck brewing for a long time inside me, so I am very interested in reading about creating decks, especially the technical aspect of preparing artwork for printing. M…

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum, so I'd like to introduce myself first. My name is Ylenia; I am 18, I am from Italy, and I have been reading tarot for around a year. My interest in tarot came up when my TikTok fyp started being flooded by these readings; I was a bit skeptical at first, and I didn't have enough money to get a proper reading, so I just said, "Alright I'm going to learn it and do it for myself." I am so glad I did! Tarot for me was a huge turning point in my life, I was already going through a period of transition, and it just helped me see my situation more clearly. The most important thing I learned from using them is that life isn't black and white an…

A bit of a tarot-late-bloomer: 45 years old, but always had an interest in the intriguing art of the tarot cards. I only did reading to myself so far, but i’m fascinated to learn more. I’m not sure of i believe that tarot can predict future, but i’m very sure the cards will definitely give insight. I’m curious what all your perspectives are and can’t wait to read more about you all!

I was a member of Aeclectic for a long time, but in the end I stopped attending when my health took a turn. It seems Aeclectic was finally taken down. I am not certain, but at a quick glance it seems so. I am not here to talk about Aeclectic, but am elaborating on how I found this forum. So, I am sure that many I used to know are now here. Hi to all.

I believe many of us do not read for ourselves, because we know we put our thoughts and energies strongly into the cards and we can mislead ourselves, so I wonder how we can be sure that when we are reading for our clients that we aren't putting any preconceived notions or any judgment thoughts and energies into the cards and unknowingly misdirecting them? if we are very skilled at maintaining a cleansed, accepting and open energy field when reading for clients, then can we also read for ourselves?

Hello hello! I'm Libra, a recently 30 year old tarot reader from the rainforests of beautiful BC! I have a fascination with tarot for years, that stemmed from a recurring dream of my youth, that I now feel is a memory from a more magical past life. I was a young girl from a well off family with a nanny, who late in the night would tell me stories about fairies and witches, but it always seemed so real coming from her, not like a fairy tale but like she was recounting events of her life. Then one day, she gave me a tarot deck! It was an interesting deck with green borders and an image on the top half and a ornamental square on the bottom. When I used the cards, always in t…
