Hello everyone! 👋 I’m a lifelong witch and tarot reader, and I’ve been walking this path since I was 13 (nearly 40 years now!). My first deck was the Rider-Waite, and when the Haindl deck was released, it instantly became my go-to, I still carry one in my handbag everywhere I go. Over the years my collection has grown to include the Margarete Petersen, Moonchild, Shadow Moonchild, and the Rooted Remembrance Tarot by Rae Serafina Barker, along with a variety of oracle decks that found their way to me at different stages of my journey. One of my favourites being the Dark Mirror oracle which is a tribute to the Final Fantasy artist, Laura Sava. A hard hitting dec…

As mentioned briefly in my profile, I got abackgorund (academically and privatly) in different old or ancient languages. Among those are: Egyptian Hebrew Oldnorse to a certain degree Latin - I Hated that! - But I need it sometimes! Etymology and linguistic in general. I also read mythologies of several germanic and middleeaster origins, and more odd African and post dispora african etc. For people with interest in AFrican I can reccomend Malidomas flick *of Water and Spirit. I read a lot also outside 'our shelves' when attending university - so if you got an odd question about Sumerian or how they actully make a golem? or worse(!) - then feel free! 😉 I k…

Hello, My name is Claire and I'm from Northamptonshire in the UK. I have always had a strong calling to all things spiritual. After raising my two babies I have finally found some time to focus on myself & what's important to me. I was gifted The Psychic Tarot a long time ago. The past few months I picked up the deck and it just sang to me. I have been looking for a safe space to explore the cards and find out all I can. Looking forward to exploring this forum & meeting like minded people. Thank you Claire

Hi! I’m Kerry, 34 and born and raised in Houston, Texas. I've been studying Tarot for almost a year. My divination journey itself began over three years ago when I began studying I Ching. I find both to be such amazing tools for self-discovery, development, and empowerment. I still consider myself a beginner. I'm terrified to read for anyone besides myself and my best friend. :-[ However, since reading 78 Degrees of Wisdom and seeing Jung's theories applied, my understanding deepens with each reading. I have a bit of an obsession with esoteric knowledge and exploring my own spirituality. Being raised with no religious guidance is both a blessing and a curs…

My name is James, but I also go by Jams. Recently, I learned that Tarot readings exist, and have been interested in how it work. I find the entire concept fascinating, especially in how it can be utilized as a tool for self reflection. I don't own any decks, though I have just ordered the Golden Thread deck not too long ago, so that should change soon. I hope to understand the Tarot better during my stay, and hope to get along with you all in the process!

I’m Tamra and am new to the Tarot world. It was like fate, how I was brought into this world (who knows I may have subconsciously manifested this myself). I was just lying down cuddling with my son on the couch watching YouTube (Just kids stuff he likes to watch) and dosed of and when I came back to in the wee hours of the morning, YouTube was playing videos of a tarot reading that really resonated with me and the next video was a “how to” on definition of cards and I just kept watching the videos that played until I looked at the time and 6 hours had gone by!!! Then I started research and I felt the calling to just learn everything my mind and soul can absorb. …

Hei! I've been reading for a little bit over a year. I mostly get what the cards are saying but sometimes they can confuse me. I don't know anyone IRL who reads tarot so yeah, here I am. Looking forward to great conversations! Have a lovely day for now :) Lavinia

Morning to you all! I’m Diana, and I’ve come across this wonderful community in my journey with Tarot. I’ve been dabbling for about 20 years, and started with the Thoth tarot deck. Funnily enough, I found this deck easier to read. I’m currently using RW deck which I find confusing at times. I love to hear others interpretations of the cards, and learn different tarot spreads.

X/ I just joined and happy to be here. I started with Tarot probably around 30 years ago but once oracle decks came out, I gravitated more and more towards them. Especially Fae ones and Angel decks. I started to list my decks on my profile but will have to come back later and fill it out more. Its still the wee morning here and not enough coffee in me yet. Love crystals, working with Angels and Faeries, Sacred Feminine, animals, gardening, and nature. I guess thats about it for right now. Off to explore <3

Hello! Excited to jump into this forum. I’ve been studying tarot for about three years- history, usage, meaning, application, art- and feel really confident in my abilities to read individual cards for myself and for others. I’ve received a lot of positive feedback that supports my readings are on track, which is great. But I continue to struggle with combination cards, and my confidence level isn’t there yet. So I’m looking forward to learning more about how to craft those stories. 🧡

Hii! I’m Lian and I am super new to this, I started tarot a month or two. My skills are horribly awful and I’ve been really needing some cool tarot community to help me learn a two, and I think I’ve found one !

Hello, and thank you so much for your community! I’ve been reading tarot cards for 6 years and have loved every second of it. The tarot is a great teacher and just a lot of fun, right? I hope to become more active with my fellow readers online :) I am a big fan of the Thoth system (cut my teeth on the Rosetta Tarot), but have a collection of decks so large I am rather embarrassed about it! Other things, let’s see... favorite color is red, I love my pet rabbits and playing guitar, and I was playing Pokemon Yellow tonight. It’s great to meet you!

Hi everyone! I am very new to Tarot, and I look forward to being part of this community to continue learning and practicing. I only started learning Tarot cards 2 weeks ago, so just a newbie. I bought a RWS deck as it seems to be the most recommended for beginners, and just finished reading Rachel Pollack's Seventy-Eight Degrees of Wisdom. I've done a few readings for my family members and myself, even though it still takes me forever to make a cohesive reading out of the cards, I find it a very therapeutic and powerful tool. There is so much more to the cards that I feel like I'm not quite grasping with yet. Any recommendation for how to become a better Tarot…

Hi, new here, nice to 'meet' you all. Started reading tarot - rider waite, last autmn. My mum used to read tarot and before her my nana read tea leaves. For some reason the time feels right to start learning the craft myself. I have occasional 'hearings' that come true but these are few and far between. My mum often sees things but again this is isn't a regular thing. Mum sadly isn't as available to teach me due to health problems so i'm starting from scratch as it were. Currently only reading for self and one or two close friends, cards pulled have been quite accurate as regards to current situations but i sometimes struggle to interpret the cards as a whole narrative to…

Hello, I'm Remy, I've been reading with tarot & oracle cards for over 15 years and Lenormand for about 10. After a couple years of my tarot practice taking a back seat, I'm coming back to (almost) daily readings. I currently live in France so I own decks both in English and French (plus a couple extra languages, because why not ?). My deck collection is a bit out of control, I have a soft spot for indie decks (even though I don't own that many) and have created a few myself. I used to lurk on Aeclectic but I don't think I ever posted anything 🤔 Xo

I'm new here. I got my deck of cards a week ago and I'm already in shock at how accurate my readings are. I have had readings done by seasoned readers and I was happy with the results. I hope to learn a lot here.

Hello all! I'm Chris, just found this site today. I'm a 36 yo man, living in the Southeast USA. I got my first deck (Rider Waite) when I was around 10 years old and I've been obsessed ever since. Several years ago I began working with oracle decks as well and I love so many of them! I don't have many friends in real life who are into the tarot, so looking to connect with other folks online who enjoy chatting and sharing info about tarot reading, meditation, spirituality, social justice, and LGBT issues. Peace, Chris

Hello everyone! Still learning my way around here, but it feels welcoming. I've always been curious about the occult, esoteric, also general spirituality, philosophy, psychology. But I'd been disinterested in Tarot, despite a few chances or channels to get into it, it had been passing me by. Until about a year ago when I woke up one morning, randomly struck by the idea of diving into it, not recalling any external nudge or influence. Just an uncalled-for urge to grasp the concept, get a physical deck, and give myself some help, even though I barely knew anything about Tarot. I still ponder that morning and have no idea how exactly that came about, but I'…

Hi I have an interest in collecting tarot sets but haven't actually learned to do readings yet! That will come in the future.. for now I continue searching for and finding beautiful decks.

Hello! Though I have been studying tarot since 2005, it's definitely a hobby the ebbs and flows for me. Aeclectic collapsed during one of my ebbing periods (my username was the same on there), but recently I've found myself called back to the hobby with the specific interest of learning how to read the Tarot de Marseille (and probably the Thoth later on). The conversations on the Marseille in this forum have become quite active in the last few weeks, so I wanted to join in order to participate and share what I've uncovered. Looking forward to it!

Hello all, Brand new here. New reader. Using two decks for personal readings only at this time. 1 oracle, and Thoth. Thanks for having this community available.

Warm greetings. You can call me Marigold. I fell in love with the Tarot of Marseilles many many many years ago. It is still my greatest Tarot love, although the Osho Zen, the Oswald Wirth as well as the Lasenic are high up on my list. The latter fills me with wonder and I use it more for contemplation than for readings. I don't read and study as much as I used to. But every now and again, I get drawn back to the cards and their hidden meanings and symbolism and journey through them. I look forward to meeting everyone here in good time.
