I will just say to those I haven't personally messaged, there have been a lot of losses in my life over the last couple of years, as I am sure there were in many of yours. Family, friends, my working with students, just kind of poof. I know you all know what I mean. But I can't stay like a dragonfly in amber, in limbo, not when I'm pushing 73, and I DID miss this place, I just wasn't in the head space to be here. It was like so much just stopped. Anyway, I know many of you from AT, to those I don't know, if you have questions, please feel free to message me or read my profile. I feel like the pendulum in the clock has started tick…

Hi everyone, I had a tarot reading done yesterday by a lady I’ve been having regular readings from for the past 2 years. My most recent reading has left me terrified that my dad is about to die suddenly from illness or an accident. I asked for the reading to focus on health and it came out with the king of cups, the chariot and the tower in the same spread. The lady said we were about to face sudden endings to do with a cancerian man. I’ve felt sick ever since with worry. could this be interpreted in any other way? thanks

Grr....... I came here to introduce myself at the welcome suggestion of Saturn Celeste. I was just almost done with a very lengthy intro which I was not saving as I wrote, and I accidentally deleted it....... I'll be back as soon as I get my head out of my (bleep) but just wanted my newfound community to know that I am trying! If this comment is unduly vulgar, please report it with my apologies. I swear like a trooper, but not when it will offend. Love, Grandma

I do IRL and onlibne courses. I Goth Crowleys and Goldens Dawsn Tarot as the first, have made my own sets later, and got introduced to tarot by people of The European O.t.o - Golden Dawn bracnh in The North. I also was one of the core founders of Asatru in Sandinavia and know my way around this literature, runes, stones utiseti and more. I always answer any questions in mythology, Theurgy or o…

I took a break from tarot but it found me again. I remember the old tarot forum and find much comfort in reading there and here now. I love to look at cards in a new way from new perspective and fuse it with the traditional old meaning.

Hi I'm Mikey, I started with the cards back in 72. More recently I have been giving readings, I never offer but am sometimes approached, for about 5 years now. I use a combination of Jung, an Open Reading, and subconciousness to read. I love to discuss Tarot and have been looking for a Friendly place. I hope this can be it. As my grandfather said, if you don't learn something new each day, you must be dead!

Hello everyone. I've been reading and studying Tarot off-and-on for probably approaching twenty years now, and while I learned with the RWS system (a mixture of a teacher and the old site learntarot.com) over the last few years I've been slowly turning more and more towards the more fundamental and 'basic' TdM tradition after reading Boethius and becoming more interested in the 'unwritten' history of Tarot in terms of what informed its creation. Outside of Tarot I enjoy a good book and love to do the rounds of the local charity shops. And while I used to be into fitness a few years ago I fell off that wagon really badly and hope to get back on it t…

I just found out AT has shut down! I was just going to get re active there again like i used to be. I had same user name on there Oni. Course that is my real middle name so not hard to find me! he hee. I had been on AT since 2004 so really sad it is gone. But if anyone knows me from there please do say hello. I was from USA Florida all my time at AT but i moved to Budapest Hungary in December 2015. So many things have changed for me and honestly i am still unsettled here in Budapest, so tarot is much more needed for me now. All my decks are in storage back in FL, i will not get my worldly possessions until most likely a few years so i am rebuilding my collection for n…

Em hotep (in peace) everyone! I'm Khenne (pronounced like Ken, but breathier)! I'm a non-binary guy (they/them) who is joining you all! Little Fang is dear to me and talked myself and some of our friends into joining you all here. I've been dabbling in all kinds of divination for years, but have only really started to get Tarot in the last year or so. The Wild Unknown clicked with me when my previous decks did not. I would like to build my confidence and practice while working with you all! Thanks for having me!

Hi All:) I am new here and already completely blown away by the knowledge, passion, and insight available on these pages! I have been practicing different forms of divination and channeling for years, but I count myself a novice and do not have a daily practice. Thank you for all of these fantastic discussions on the ways in which to interpret the Tarot. You are such a valuable resource to those of us that want to intuit the cards in our own way, in their intended way, so that the world doesn't get all muddied up with misinformation and eager readers who (perhaps unknowingly) bend the cards to fit a desired narrative. I am no stranger to this myself, which…

Hello Tarot, Tea, & Me Community, I've been away for awhile and have been thinking of this space quite a lot over the summer months. This time I jumped in and became a subscriber. I've been connecting with tarot for several years now and am enjoying the journey more and more every day. I went all in buying so many decks. I took an 8 month long intro-to-tarot class getting together with others twice a week and, although by this time I'd already learned much of what we covered, it filled in some gaps, kept me accountable to learning, and gave me more confidence. I still buy decks unnecessarily, because it is fun and I love the art. I am learning each and every day …

He/him and ready to shuffle some cards! :)) I was invited by the lovely Little Fang <3, and thus I am here. Plus, I need to work more on actually reading tarot instead of just. Hoarding decks. Because they're pretty. Which is a Perfectly good reason, to be fair, but I would like to let them see more use. ::) I've had a deck since 2015, and have technically been reading since then, but not often and I'm not sure I even qualify as 'intermediate' yet, haha. I have both tarot and oracle decks, and need more practice with both. Hope to learn lots of stuff and meet lots of peopl…

Glad I've found you all and looking forward to carrying on my journey alongside you all. I've always been a very spiritual person (Prudence is my spirit name I was given as a baby at my naming ceremony) and have been told more than once by different people I have the gift to be able to communicate with spirit. Life and having young children however meant I never had the time or peace to try. I've had oracle cards a couple of years but only recently got my first tarot deck (as well as a second) so here I am!

Hello I got my first deck in the late '90's, but, only recently started serious practice. I got a couple of Mary K Greer's books I have lots of big problems I feel hopeless about. I'm 55. I have attracted a lot of negativity into my life, and my hope, right now, is safety, freedom and learning. I am so glad I found this large Internet forum, given that another one is now not in use, so I could not join, maybe members have come on here, as well as newbies like me.

Hello, to whoever is out there. o=(HUG)=o As kids, my sister and I had an interest in tarot, unaware our babusya (nana) was a tarot reader in Ukraine, before she and the family moved to Australia, and all these years later I find myself with a deck of cards I need a manual and AI to navigate! I'm very spiritual, develop instant connections with animals, especially horses and cats, who have always been my healers throughout my life (I don't know how I could have coped without my ponies and horses); and I've always had an uncannily strong intuition able to warn me about ominous people or things, but have struggled with sensing if someone/thing is "good." …

Hello! I'm brand new to tarot. Well, mostly; I had a deck when I was a kid that I dabbled with a little bit and found intriguing. It's been lost to the sands of time across multiple moves and a couple decades at this point. My wife and I were on vacation recently and we were exploring a cute little downtown nestled in the mountains a few hours from where we live. We walk into a crystal shop. While neither of us are into that stuff at all, she finds the crystals pretty to look at. I was struck by an enormous tarot display in the back of the store. I was brought back to my youth and began to reminisce. I chatted with the shopkeeper for a few minutes but ultimate…

I’m Éric, a 36-year-old Brazilian and a linguist. My tarot journey began about four years ago, mostly as an excuse for me to jorunal more (and use my fountain pen & ink collection more often!) and I’d say I’m somewhere in the “intermediate” stage — always learning, but comfortable enough to read for myself as well as for friends and my husband. What fascinates me most is the semantic and semiotic possibilities of tarot — the way symbols, images, and language weave together to create meaning. I often use the cards as a tool for journaling and self-reflection, approaching them with a more analytical and psychological lens. I don’t see myself as psychic or pa…
