Hi everyone, after trying a few other forums I have found my way here. Hi to all the former AT's and to new friends I hope to make and have discussions with. :D

Hello - Ill just be up front and say Im only a nominal user of the tarot - I find it extremely useful to give myself a little more insight on issues that might trouble me or if I am feeling like I dont have a clear direction, but I only perhaps lay out the deck for myself about three or four times a year. Recently have been dealing with some issues where I really dont want to make a misstep and I did a reading for myself that I thought perhaps if I could discuss with other tarot enthusiasts I might see if my interpretation was on the right track. I have looked at the thread where that is supposed to be posted and am composing my own hopefully to be posted soon. Anyway,…

I'm an old guy presently residing in West Virginia, USA. I have tried using divinatory cards without success. I even went so far as to create my own deck based on the 72 angels and shuffle them by throwing them up in the air in a version of '52 card pick-up' but alas no success, but maybe some of your wisdom can help.

Hello all, I'm phthalogreen! I’ve been interested in tarot cards since I was young and got my RW deck when I was 13. Unfortunately, even after more than a decade of dabbling, I am not exactly gifted when it comes to readings and interpretation, especially seeing how the cards in a spread work together. When I do readings for myself, I try to pay attention to my own gut feeling and understanding of the cards, but typically end up frantically Googling meanings for each card, second guessing, and becoming confused and unclear. I also tend to immediately jump to a negative view of a reading unless it is overwhelmingly, beat-you-over-the-head-with-a-rainbow positive. I'm at…

I hope I'm not too late to the party. :D And I'm so glad to see so many familiar names here too. I hope to learn a lot from you guys.

Hi. This is chongjasmine from Singapore. I love tarot cards and used to post at AT. Found out yesterday that it was gone and came to this forum. Hope to be a part of community here.

I'm Samia. First time on any tarot forum so I'll be pretty quiet at first. Been reading tarot for 28 years mainly for friends & myself. Hoping to learn many new things here [emoji847] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi, everyone! My name's Quinn - I've been reading cards for a little less than a year, but have found that I am truly drawn to cartomancy and that the cards are drawn to me. Aside from being a tarot and Lenormand enthusiast, I am also a solitary witch. It's nice to meet you! Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Hi there! I'm Essjay from AT - thanks for setting up this amazing forum. It looks wonderful! :D

Hi all, firefrost here. Some will remember me from AT! :D (Thanks for pointing me here, gregory!)

Call me "T", "Tabs" or "Chrysanth". Quadruple scorpio here and the Chrysanthemum is my birth flower.[emoji4] I have been reading tarot since I was 15. I haven't been consistent with it over the last 3 years or so, but still love tarot and all things herb, garden or neo-shamanic wisdom. I also love Jane Roberts and incorporate psychometry into my my daily life. I tend to get sick and sometimes crazy if I go over board though. I'm hoping to get back into my spiritual practice. It's been one long dark night of the soul for me. I'm looking forward to connecting with others and reconnecting with myself. Sent from my SM-J700T1 using Tapatalk

Tarot newbie here :D. I was a casual lurker at the AT forum but I never registered or posted. Then of course it got closed :/ and I felt awful that I could not participate. BUT! I learned about this forum and I decided what the heck and decided to come out from the shadows and join all of you (teehee). I am eager to get started on my tarot journey (although I am a bit overwhelmed) and make friends as I go :).

Like many, I too come from AT. I had just joined and then took a short break, only to be devestated when I found out it closed. I was Queen of Nothing (can you tell I'm still a cringy MySpace emo?) over there as well. I'm finally getting more confident in my readings and I want to continue to learn within the community.

Hello everyone!! Just joined today~ I came here to get second opinions on my readings as I often find myself second guessing (bad I know) and I always feel its best to get a second opinion! I currently own 7 tarot and oracle decks but my most commonly used are The Steampunk Tarot, As Above So Below and Wisdom of the Hidden Realms~

Hey there, I'm Nik I've been studying independently since October, so nearly a year. I only have one deck, the Tarot Mucha, but lurking around here I have accumulated quite a long wish list ;D Ephemeridae is a family of borrowing mayflies. Mayflies are symbolically significant to me and I picked a burrowing mayfly for my username because I am really shy about sharing my enthusiasm for Tarot to people in real life. So, my tarot-life happens under a rock (so to speak). I am an environmental chemist by trade, and also the mother of two girls and one girl-cat I am excited to be here, to learn and to grow in my practice, to try readings with other people, and ho…

I'm Libra 58 and I used the same name at AT. ;) Looking forward to meet new Tarot lovers in here.

Hi everyone! I just learned of the closing of AT, but extremely excited to join others here. So thank you to the awesome person(s) that started this forum. I joined AT many moons ago (2004ish), but fell quiet for many, many years and lost touch with anyone I knew. I feel like a beginner all over again in so many different ways. I hope to meet and talk with all of you very soon! Melissa

Hello everyone, I'm Esk, another AT refugee. I'm glad to have other places to land, so thanks Little Fang for creating this forum . It looks nice and cosy here :) Let's introduce myself quickly. I started reading tarot 3,5 years ago so I still consider myself a newbie. Even if I'm french I prefer the Rws and know nothing about the Tarot de Marseille. Last year I've also begun to read with some few oracles (so newbie too). Unfortunately lately I have less time and energy to read and learn but I hope being on new forums will rekindle my motivation.

How do? Another Aeclectic refugee here. I haven't been very active on AT for a while, as I'm in a not-very-tarot phase, but (like knitting) it comes and goes, reluctance alternating with binge. So at some point in the future another binge will come over me, and then I'll explore all the tarot forums across the internet and see which I "land in". Meanwhile I'll be on the edge of the crowd, quietly. Good to see so many familiar names here. :) One question, is there a list of subforums that are subscriber-only? Trading seems to be the only one, but surely that can't be it?

Hi! Glad to find you all... Sad about Aeclectic Tarot...I'm kinda in shock still :'( Just found out today....

Greetings. :) I have been a member of AT since 2005. I will sincerely miss the place. But I also understand that the Wheel turns and things change. It's difficult though, to be sure. This forum certainly helps soften the blow. I pulled a card from the WISDOM OF THE ORACLE deck shortly after learning about the AT shutdown and the card that I pulled was "Neverending Story." I think that's how I will continue to think of AT, as a story that hasn't ended yet, a story that continues to unfold. Very brief intro about me: I began reading Tarot in 1991 when I was 16 years old. It stuck and I've been reading ever since. I read mostly for myself but also for friends …
