I had an interview today and I did a cc spread before the interview and horseshoe spread after the interview. Coincidentally outcome, fear and environment in both the spreads has come to be the same. Outcome- Chariot Fear- Strength Environment / Attitude of others - 6 of swords I don’t really feel good about how the interview went, obviously my hunch on the Recent future is right with the Tower. But I wonder why these cards are chasing me?

I’m doing a reading about a friendship/crush(?) idk but I pulled these three cards as their opinion of me; what vibes I give off to them, and I’m having a bit of a confused time. the first two point to maybe a pleasant but distant acquaintanceship, however the Tower card is tripping me up a bit. its coming off to me like they maybe had their opinion of me unexpectedly changed and maybe it went from bad to good/vice versa but I’m not sure if I’m confident in that interpretation just yet

Hello tarot fam! So I finally took the plunge and scored a pretty sweet deal on a Swiss 1JJ deck from 1974. Woohoo! The cards are in good shape, but they have spent many of their 45 years in a smoker's house. So they're quarantined from my other decks until the odor dissipates a bit. I've currently got them in a Tupperware with a sachet of dried lavender beside the deck. The box is also in a Tupperware with a sachet of baking soda sitting inside it. We'll see how that does after they've sat today and tonight. Do you folks have any other tried and true methods that you use to eliminate odors?

I did a seven-card spread using the Celestial, but it didn't resonate - there were some truths there, but I had to read the book as I don't connect well with the Celestial - I don't know the constellations and myths it draws on well enough. So I'm looking for some suggestions for a good deck choice - maybe I should go with my old favorite Spiral, or the Touchstone? Or the standard RWS? Or maybe I should draw out the Blake, but I haven't read with it much and it's a bit of a spiritually massive deck. Could be what I need though. I'd appreciate some spread suggestions. I usually just do one or two card readings, but I feel a good spread where the relationship…

So the past month or more, I keep seeing the queen of wands when suffling the cards and also in some spreads. I somehow feel this thing whenever I see it and when I see it repeatedly, I feel as if it's like a message that I should become like the card in order to improve. I don't know if it is stupid, but the first thought I had is "am I the Queen of wands"? Do you ever find yourself in a card? Have you had this kind of feeling?

Hi, I was studying the world card for my new deck ‘tarot for Everyday’ and I was just picking random cards, so one of the cards that caught my attention was the ‘world card’. The woman sits on a swing and looks outside, there is no wreathe or other objects that surround her. She does look content and relaxed (not sure happy). How would this be different from a RWS meaning of completion? Thoughts please attaching image and the meaning from the LWB

What are some fun, casual spreads/questions to ask the tarot? I'm looking for some more practice I can do daily, but I don't want to do the draw one card a day business. I'm thinking 1-3 card spreads (maybeeee 4, but that is stretching it a bit), something light. And none of that morning, noon, evening type spreads. Those just don't interest me at all. Any suggestions?

For some years now I've assigned personal names to the decks I use most, or otherwise feel the strongest connection to. I feel like the careful deliberation this requires really puts me "in tune" (so to speak) with the character of each deck and its artwork. At the same time it feels suspiciously like kid stuff-- but only outside the comfort of my own home. Who else names their decks? And why/why not? Sincerely looking forward to your answers 😄✨

I was just on Etsy and was surprised to see how many people are offering tarot readings for around $5 or less. I wouldn't even take my cards out of the box for $5 since I think my experience and insight are worth more than that, especially if there is a written narrative involved. Is this typical for on-line readings? If so, I think I'll bow out before I ever get started.

I've been thinking outside the box again (a decidedly dangerous pursuit). I get some use out of the Lenormand house system (although I don't use it exhaustively every time), both the traditional 36-card Grand Tableau version and the "movable houses" approach to smaller spreads. I've been pondering whether something similar could be done with the tarot, and decided to use a method I already created for another purpose as an experiment. Theres a great thread now on the 3 of Swords, I had one going on the 4&7 of Swords, and there's usually one around about the 5 of Swords. I don't see or notice many others of any other suit, (I'm not counting the Majors her) that spark so many questions and wonders. Could it be only that the Swords penetrate the mind and ask us to think? or try to influence us to think before we speak? I keep my tarot decks in a box, and when I take them out I usually get to see the last card at the bottom of the deck. Somehow I always feel that last card always has a message for me. Does anybody have any such experiences?

Hi, I have a question, does carrying specific cards with you help at all. I read somewhere, that if you carry a card you wish to draw energy from, they help you with it. Sorry guys I have no idea where to post this I find the thread topics confusing! I wanted to ask about a spread I did for my friend, a simple 4 card one, one card to represent her, then one card each for past present and future. When it came time for the future card to be picked I inadvertently handed her a card from the spread and tried to give it to her! I just thought it was so bizarre as l was asking her to choose cards herself of course, has anyone ever done this and would you place any meaning on what happened or not really?

Howdy Tarot Fam! I was wondering if any of you ever read at events like Renaissance Festivals or other similar fairs. Do you have any recommendations for type of canopy / vendor tent to use? Any decorating tips? My wife and I are thinking of doing a booth at a small-ish local Ren Fest (small in that it only runs two weekends), and vendors are expected to bring their own set-up.
