@Esk I also usually do the standard Celtic Cross! Oddly enough, while this spread isn't my favorite spread to use generally, I find it works really well for fictional characters, I think because it's got a lot archetypal stuff happening.

Because fictional characters often have a hugely important relationship to another significant character in their life, I also really love using the 3-card "difficult colleagues" spread from Biddy. I love it because most of my favorite fictional relationships are built around conflict, and this spread really easily gets at the root of that conflict in a way that's easy to parse!
