Hello guys, I was contemplating about judgement card, I used tarot draconis(pic attached below). I got the message from higher sphere,that this card is about "no matter what happens you are on your way". When you look into this card (the depiction is quite different as RW), I see a woman which plays on harp and she does not care what is around. It seems that there is a huge turmoil behind her, maybe some earthquake, noise, dragons grind fire out, but she does not stop to play, she follows what she wants. What does it mean when you get two court cards and a major in a reading to some off you guys out their.

Do you use multiple decks in a single reading. How often do you do this, and for what types of readings? Do you have go-to spreads that you use for these combos? What deck combinations do you prefer? Novices are understandably reluctant to do this, but some pros like to include a few oracle cards in their Tarot readings. Some think that this gives some depth to their interpretations, while others think that it only distracts from the main message that your guides, deepest self, etc wish to tell you. They do look so good on a spread tho, especially if the aesthetics of the decks match.

I read (or perhaps saw on a video) advice that cards for a live reading should be dealt faced down, then turned over in sequence and explained as you went along. I think it was for Celtic Cross, but the rational applies to all larger spreads. This was because if you showed a distracting card, like Death, in say the near future or outcome position, the querent wouldn't hear anything you said about any earlier card; they'd be too fixated on the red button card you hadn't got to yet. However, I've tried practicing this way online and it's hard. I don't know really know what a card means, except in the context of the other cards. This means I waffle a lot then do a big …

I did a reading for someone today, and got all four kings in the spread. It was a reading about a spesific love interest, and both the sitter and her love interest are very young, so it baffled me a bit. I was like "so many MEN". But I doubt she has four potential love interest. King of pentacles was placed in her past, king of wands on the position for "this will help you", and the result was king of swords flanked by king of cups and the high priestess. hi! new to the forum, but not to tarot. many people use base and quint cards. i most often don't, but in doing exchanges, i have at times found the quint useful for laying out the overall theme of the other cards, or simply clarifying the other cards if i'm stumped. then, the reading makes perfect sense. what is the real difference between them? they seem so similar. i think i prefer the quint. curious to know thoughts from others. useful or not?

for those of you who read the tarot at fairs, events,, know possibly what I am talking about. but before I get to that.. So far, I've only been offering free readings online at a forum and anonymously. How do people find you? Offering readings for friends would be odd, because I know them, and that could make me biased. I've gotten 95% positive feedbacks so far, so I guess that makes me want to continue learning more.

I did a reading today, a love reading. And I got queen of cups, page of cups, king of cups, the devil in the same reading. I also got temperence and seven pentacles as the result. I don't know why, but I got a really strong feeling that the sitter is an alcholic, or addicted to something (dating? men?). I find this a bit troubling, actually. What do I say? Do I ask? Is it something one mentions? Anyone else ever got this feeling? What do you say?

Among all these intriguing (and mainly symbolical) pictures, the girl on the 8 of Swords enjoyed my special attention: she reminds me of these scary Japanese vengeful spirits with long black hair - onryo. Even my boyfriend is afraid of them, as they're quite atmospheric. And the environment further adds the tension: swords, bondage, barren plain with a lone mountain. I think she'd make a great character for a horror movie or a videogame with this appearance, and what do you think of her? Also, can she make a significator for an onryo? xD

Do you use your decks in predicting the outcomes of observable events like sports games, the stock market, reality TV shows, etc.? What can you say is your batting average? If it's rather high, do you hesitate to cash in on your skill, or do you think that it's somehow disrespectful of your gift? Care to share your favorite spreads, the ones that give you the most accurate results?

What are some personal Tarot practices that are uniquely yours, or which other readers may find odd or strange? I discussed this with a few of my reader friends just the other day, and suffice it to say that we were thoroughly entertained by how creative and out of this world some of our peculiarities are. I even thought of incorporating some of their quirks in my practice. ;D
