I came across this beautiful image that, apparently, belongs to a Tarot deck... Would anyone know which Tarot this belongs to, if any? Thank you so much. :D

Do you put your Tarot/Oracle/Lenormand/etc decks to the test? Do you try to see if they're accurate by using them to predict events that are of no import to you like the winner in a tennis match for example, or who would win in a reality show, or who will ultimately survive in a slasher flick? For some readers this is just par for the course. For others it is a bit disrespectful, like you are using the cards for trivial things or you don't fully trust them.

Has anybody else attempted this? I'm very slowly working through this deck. The card stock is actually quite good, about the same thickness as LS decks, maybe a little thicker. The cards are a bit square-er than usual tarot cards, more of an oracle deck shape. I'm using colour schemes for the minor cards, but the majors I will colour probably more like RWS, as I suspect the colour choices were quite intentional. I'm using coloured pencils, but I think with a very light hand this card stock would possibly handle watercolour too. So far I've completed seven cards - the Pages, and three of the Tens. I'm studying each card in the order presented in 'Around the Tarot in 78 …

Do you let other people touch your decks? Like do you let your curious friends go through the cards or do you only limit contact to querents? Or do you forbid absolutely everyone any kind of tactile access to your cards? I've read some beliefs on this, that a deck's bond with its owner diminishes when others touch it so that a few are unduly vigilant regarding this. If you do allow anyone, do you impose any limits? Like some people can be quite careless or heavy-handed when they shuffle, so some readers only allow them to cut and/or stack their deck. Others feel that querents can only truly imbue the cards with their energy if they shuffle them too, so they don't mind.

I'm curious if the judgement card represents karma? I was doing a reading for myself about a very painful event that happened to me when I was younger that will be with me for life. I asked 'why did I have to experience this event in my life?' So the first thing I thought about when seeing this card was karma. Do you agree with this? I mean I know the description says rebirth but that doesn't really make sense to me.

Ever wondered how a deck of Tarot cards would look like if they transformed into a high fashion dress? Welp, take a look at how Maria Grazia Chiuri through atelier Maison Vermont used Il Meneghello's Visconti di Modrone as her inspiration. https://www.dior.com/diormag/en_gb/search?search=Modrone (same as the first one)

I came across this site, today. Not sure if someone has already posted it, here. Searched for it and didn't find it, so here's the link https://www.dailydot.com/parsec/fandom-tarot-card-deck-guide/ Amazing Tarot artwork...

I absolutely love Tarot. Absolutely love Tarot cards that are larger than the average. My favourite larger sets are: [glow=red,2,300]Rohrig Tarot[/glow] [glow=green,2,300]The Druidcraft Tarot[/glow] and [glow=orange,2,300]The Journey into Egypt[/glow] Does anyone else fee like I do about large Tarot cards? Would love to hear from you and your favourites. I'm always looking for new, beautiful, even unknown sets. :)

Do you eat or drink anything in the middle of a reading. Why/why not? Do you think it's somehow disrespectful towards the cards or do you feel like a little sacrifice (of your hunger/thirst) might make your reading more potent? Does feeling full affect your concentration, like does it make you feel drowsy or uncentered? Or do you just dislike the crumbs that would mess up your workspace if you're finicky? Or do you think it doesn't really matter, so you'd eat or drink whenever necessary, even in the middle of a reading? Some do this only during breaks tho, and just clean their hands when they have to read again.

I’m curious to know if anyone has any experience with the 3 of wands when asking about love life eg: ‘what will my love life be like.’ I use the mythic tarot deck but I’ll also refer to the rider Waite tarot. When I look at mythic deck I see a traveller holding three wands (I don’t know what that represents) and he is startled and contemplating the man offering the crown. I see this as the man offering to be in the guy’s life. He’s showing he wants to be a part of it and will do anything. But the guy standing is wondering if that’s really a good idea. So perhaps this shows that during travels the querent will meet someone who is deeply, or should I say intrudingly, …

What's the most difficult reading you've ever performed? It can be because it took such a long time to conduct it, or because the spread itself is highly-complicated (like the OOTK), or maybe because you've already expended so much effort on it and you still can't interpret what the cards say. Or maybe because the emotional implications of the reading were so heavy, so ominous towards the querent, that you had a hard time finshing it or even just relaying to the other person exactly what the cards have said? In any case, did you finish it, or did you just give up altogether? If you did pull it off, did the reading eventually turn out to be accurate?

You may have worked with a deck so many times that the actual cards have become decrepit, and the images may have become scratched and marked that it has become quite unusable. Or for various reasons, you may have decided that you shan't be working with a deck anymore in the future. Anyway, what do you do with a deck after you chose to retire it? Do you put in a special place somewhere in your attic, burn it in a special ceremony, try to sell it if it still seems marketable, etc?

We all know the king of wands is a self absorbed, self entitled, mean but hypersexual emotionless man of fire and passion. But I'm curious to know what would upset/ P off the king of wands. I was thinking that ignoring him, not paying attention to him, paying lots of love and affection and praise to someone other than him. I'm curious to hear other ppls thoughts.

I'm curious to know what others think... I did a reading this evening for someone which made no sense at all to them. The cards seemed really clear to me and a narrative came through - but the querent was quite sure that it wasn't relevant to them/their life. I'm still building experience so I'm completely willing to believe that I got it wrong but I'm curious to know what other people do and say in those circumstances? How do you deal with it and what do you say to the querent? The odd thing is that when I looked again at the cards, the reading could relate very easily to a close family member of mine who is having a lot of trouble in their life at present. H…

Do you sometimes feel like everything we do, every thought we make, and every act we take is ultimately geared towards a fixed future that we inexorably, inevitably are moving to fulfill? Like we already have a fixed end and that all the semblance of control and will that we seem to have are nothing but mere illusions serving a strict, immovable deity - personified best by the primordial goddess Ananke. We might make all these readings and predictions and we act according to the cards we pull, but if these draws and our subsequent actions have been determined from the very start, then we're still just acting out the part that's been designed for us. Our Books of Life h…

Hi Friends! Quite a long time ago, I received The Sacred Rose deck as a gift. I loved reading from it, and did for many years. Then one day I was shuffling the cards and just felt like something was missing. Sure enough, I counted my cards and the deck was one short of being complete. So I lost a card somewhere. I never recovered it and haven't used the deck since. But when I was looking for another deck a few days ago, I came across TSR again and I felt a genuine yearning and even a little sadness. I started looking on EBAY to see if I could find any lots of loose cards or someone who had that one replacement card for my deck. My question is: Do you think energe…

I have a purchasing question for you all I am looking to buy The Wild Unknown in the near future (maybe in March when the companion Oracle deck is re-released). You can purchase the deck & guidebook on The Wild Unknown's website for $40 (+7 in shipping) but it is also available on Amazon for $23 (+ free shipping), that's nearly 50% of the creator's price! Is there any advantage to buying directly from The Wild Unknown that would make up for the difference in cost? Does the creator get ripped off by the Amazon deal? If anyone has any experience in these matters I'd appreciate the input :)

Hi Friends! I've read people from my home for many years, but in Oak Park, where I live, there's a yearly pagan festival (http://www.chicagopaganpride.org/). I was thinking about applying for a booth this year. Has anyone here ever had experience with reading in this sort of venue? Did you feel energetically whammied because the crowds were large? Or was it generally a good experience? And how about sales? Did you find you sat around most of the day, or did people filter in for readings? Normally I just attend this venue. Hubby suggested partaking more fully this year. Thanks in advance, Sandy
