This is a spread I use quite often both for myself and others. It can be used for various specific questions or just a general sense which is probably why I have never come up with a name. It is a larger spread at eight cards which is odd because I am three person (3 cards or sets of 3). I hope this spread works for people here as well as it has worked for me over the years. Past (upper left): Represents the past Present (upper right): Represents the present Middle Row: Three advice cards Outcome (bottom middle): Where you will be after heeding (or not) the advice cards. What are you trying to achieve (Bottom row to the right …

Hi everyone! I’m fairly new to tarot reading. So I received this 3 card reading as I asked “How does this person feel currently about a recent separation in a love connection”. I was rather shocked at how direct the message of the first card which came flying out from the Angel Tarot deck by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine. I then used my Rider-Waite tarot deck, and The Lovers and The Magician flew out together and at the same time. I would be forever grateful to hear your perspectives on the Lovers and the Magician?? Thanks!

Does anyone have recommendations for a good/meaningful/powerful spread to do on their birthday? Tarot/oracle/both. I know you can do year ahead ones but when the birthday is end of November and the actual new year is only a month away, it would be nice to have something a bit different. Does anyone have a go to they do every year?

Someone online gave me the notion that a three-card line resembles the three windows of an old-time slot machine that roll up randomly when you pull the lever. I decided to make a spread that emulates it, using three stacks of six cards and a single six-sided die. Deal 18 cards any way you choose into three equal piles, roll the die for each pile and, counting down from the top, find the card that matches the number of spots that came up. Form the line and read it the same way you would any three-card sequence.

My friend Linda created this spread in honor of Tina Turner and gave me permission to share it. RIP the amazing Queen of Rock, Tina Turner! Proud Mary - a strength of yours you can be proud of and rely on PrivateDancer/What's Love Got to Do With It? - the main trauma, blind spot, flaw, or conditioning that is challenging or holding you back now We Don't Need Another Hero - the habitual reaction or tempting pie-in-the sky "solution" that won't work or help (for #2) Better Be Good To Me/Let's Stay Together - the best way to move forward to address your challenge (for #2) River Deep, Mountain High - An unfailing resource tha…

I see in my LWB for a deck a spread with a tarot card for each house and three overall cards in the center. So 15 cards. I know the zodiac houses and basic characteristics of the signs, but am not strong is astrology beyond that. Is this beyond my capabilities for a good reading?

Lo Scarabeo put up this spread for "interviewing" a new deck of cards. I have several new ones and I want to try it. Had anyone done this said before? If so what were your impressions? I'll probably do this over the weekend when I have more time.

I've been studying with my RWS deck and haven't had much time for doing anything else until today. This morning, I had the strong urge to use my new Everyday Witch Tarot and after my daily draw I decided to do The Deck Interview Spread As a newbie, it's one of the longest I've done, but first time for everything! I thought I'd post my interview in case anyone wants to give it a try. @Nordica De Spell I'm lookin at you! Here's my spread, starting at the top and reading clockwise. ETA: This may be in the wrong area! Mods, help!

As I continue to explore "mixed-media" spreads, I decided to tackle the I Ching in conjunction with Anthony Clark's I Ching Pack and the hexagram correspondences in the Thoth deck (as mentioned in Crowley's BoT commentary). I envision using this only for complex problem-solving situations. https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2019/08/24/an-i-ching-tarot-problem-solving-spread/

Just had my solar return and I think my Saturn return is going on for a little bit longer (not quite sure the dates on Saturn.) I was looking for a good spread with emphasis on things that Saturn might change

I actually have three questions about spreads I would like to pose for the forum over the next three days, so stay tuned. There are those in life who walk among us, I or you may meet who "think they know it all" or are visibly unconscious souls. Obviously thinking their way is the only way, never open to learning something new, when they encounter something they don't know, instead of taking the time to ask a question, do some research, they make up their own mind to stay ignorant. Or here's the great one, they assume something about you, it's all wrong, you correct them, and they get angry with you. I love that one. Their mind is closed and not ever open to t…

Hello everyone For those of you in the U.S., Thanksgiving is coming up, and you may have to deal with relatives that you don't really get along with. This spread is to help things go a bit more smoothly. 1---2---3---4---5 1. The source of the conflict with this relative. 2. What you can do to relieve the tension. 3. How to avoid arguments with them if they insist on being argumentative. 4. How to stay calm and relaxed if they continue to get on your nerves. 5. A way to decompress and de-stress when it's all over.

This is how I decided to tackle the subject of the reliability of long-range forecasts. At this point there is no reason to believe it will work any better than just "winging it," but at least it has an intelligible structure. https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2020/03/11/the-time-passages-long-range-life-reading-spread-parts-one-and-two/

I sometimes find myself pondering new tarot spreads. And perhaps this is inevitable? It seems like intuition and creativity go hand-in-hand, perhaps even build upon each other. If that is indeed the case, then I suspect I am not the only Tarot enthusiast who at least thinks about creating their own unique Tarot spreads, or even prefers using their own creations above spreads established by others. How about you? Are spreads established by others your typical go-to, or do you prefer relying on your own creative Tarot spreads?

Hi all. I spent $20 USD for a love/soulmate reading and I got a reading that focused more on feelings. It felt very basic to me. I was wondering what your interpretations would be of these cards? (I had to ask for the cards). I can post the reading if anyone asks.

This is originally from Anja's Tarot website (which unfortunately went off-line in December of 2004). It is an excellent spread when one is facing a choice between two paths (so to speak). I just used this spread this morning for a friend and it provided a very good look at what was going on with the person relating to their two choices. (I've used this spread twice now and have added the optional 11th card both times - it has been helpful.) ...6.......11.......10 .....5..............9 .......4.........8 .........3....7 ............2 ............1 1 - Past or underlying basis of the matter 2 - Current Situation 3 - Path or Action "A" 4 - Internal Influence o…

For many years, I've tried to do a yearly spread (once a year) to see what the tarot has to say about what lies ahead. However, I have NEVER found a satisfactory way to do this. Just pulling 12 cards, one for each month, never works for me. By never works, I mean it has NEVER given me anything useful at all—not even the first month. Frustrating. I am very open to suggestions here. If you can see your year ahead successfully, what is your method? Last year I tried something new. I used three decks. I pulled 12 cards from each deck, so each 'month' got three cards. Nope. Not even close. Aaargh....

Hiya, I’ve become interested in doing my own personal spirit guide readings lately (more of a meet & greet tbh). I’ve played around with a few spreads I’ve found online, but have had a lot of trouble connecting to the cards. much of what I’ve found regarding contacting guides deals in dream work or signs- my wheelhouse is tarot so I’d like to facilitate it there, ideally. I’m specifically interested in more one on one contact/conversation- less seeking guidance & more getting to know who I’m working with. I’m seeing like, 11 common guides? I’m not ready for all of that, I’d just like to focus on a couple to start. …

Autumn Season Spread (5) by Azarial Source: http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?t=106507 As the days grow shorter, and colder it's a sign from mother earth that we need to do a bit of yardwork before our yards and gardens become victims to winter's cold wrath. As we work on our yards and gardens, it's also a reminder that we need to work on our lives as well. *****1*3***** *****4*2***** ******5****** 1. Composting can be a very valueable asset to a gardener. All of the things that we do not use, can be put together and with time they become a fertilizer to help other things grow. This is what I need to gather up in my life that I may not find very usefu…
