Hi everyone, I've been on Tarotsphere lately, but I was on Aeclectic for a few years before that. I've just posted a new spread that I wrote on Tarotsphere, and I was hoping I could get some feedback from you as well. Please let me know what you think. ** The Metronome and the Pendulum are both spreads that look back, to provide details and clarity to events and time periods already past. These periods might have been confusing at the time, or else there was simply no opportunity for reflection, and all you could do then was react. Now, having moved on, you have the knowledge and hindsight to examine these events. The Metronome and the Pendulum are effectivel…

It's just about that time, so I wanted to share this in the Tarot Spreads subforum before starting the thread for the group reading! This is a spread inspired by the Sacred Days of Yule group reading let by BlueDragonfly[/member], first at AT and now here at TT&M. The original Sacred Days of Yule spread can be found here. This Sacred Days of Midsummer spread draws on inspiration from various cultures to help us embrace the sacredness of the season of summer. Together we walk the sacred path of days around the Summer Solstice. This spread is unique in that it is a total of 12 cards, with one card meant to be drawn each day for 12 days. I'll be hosting a group …

This is a spread that I first saw on Youtube ( ). They guy in the video does an example reading if you want to know a bit more about how to perform this spread. (He also mentions that he first learned this spread from an Agatha Christie book - but won't mention which one it was. I believe he is referring to The Hollow, which is the only book of hers that I know contain a cartomancy spread, although it is not exactly the same as this one. However, back on topic.. ;D) You start by choosing a significator (this card is not counted as one of the ten cards), and you place it in the middle. Then you lay the rest out like this: 5 4…

Posting at the suggestion of @Trogon. I do apologise in advance for the bad language. If it's unacceptably offensive I understand if this post needs to be removed! Personally I do think in this case it's actually rather fitting and appropriate to the spread subject, but I'm quite a sweary person and don't offend easily so perhaps I am not the best judge [emoji23] Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

I came across the following Everyday Spreads in a book entitled The Tarot Bible by Sarah Barlett. (Bartlett, Sarah. The Tarot Bible: the Definitive Guide to the Cards and Spreads. Sterling, 2006). Thought I would post them here, under the fair usage clause. (They're big so we can read them properly). Might be fun to try. :)

There's probably a thread for this, here, already, but I would love it if you could share your best interview or meet a new deck Tarot deck and Oracle deck spreads with me. Thank you so much!

Jumping in on the spreads for Imbolc! Here is a lovely spread by Christine Jette, from her book Tarot for All Seasons. Brid is another form of the name Brighid, the powerful Celtic goddess, also known as the Catholic saint depending on your path. I feel this spread can also be used throughout the year, especially if you have a devotion to Brighid. From the book: February can be the harshest winter month, yet just beneath the snow, new life grows. Celebrate growth and new beginnings. Use the Brid's Wheel spread to make plans, gain strength, heal, and attain creative inspiration. Weave together your heart's desire on the last snowflake of winter, and await the prom…

AUTHORS NOTE Now today I've decided to share this spread on a Moon phase that the Southern Hemisphere will experience on the 25th of January. This reading that is providing below to show how this spread works is personal. On the 24th of January around 2:15pm I just gotten off from work and decided to meet up with my sisters at the local OP shop. I was on the walk path I looked both ways twice to ensure that there wasn't any cars coming as this time of year it's particularly busy where I live. I looked both ways so there was no cars coming then I gotten off the walk path and started crossing. Then when I lease expected it a white car come around the corner and speedi…

This is a spread I came up a few years ago for the month of February - the 1st Feb (in Ireland) is St Brigid's Day and I believe it is the 2nd in Scotland. (Imbolc?) St Brigid is a combination of the goddess Brigid and an abbess of the same name in early Christian Ireland. Most Brigidine schools have as their motto Fortiter et Suaviter (Strength and Gentleness) and so this spread is based on that motto. But the qualities could equally apply to the triple goddess, Brigid. Strength in her Smith form; Gentleness in her Healer form; and a combination of the two in her Poet form. :) 1. Lay out the cards as shown in the diagram. 2. This spread requires the reader to w…

I came across this spread on the Tarot in a Teacup blog and thought it looked really fascinating. This is actually why I'm currently looking for a copy of her book Tarot Wisdom! The spread is done in the shape of an inverted pentagram. Picture with spread positions attached. 1 3 6 4 5 2 1. What have I lost? 2. What blocks me from returning? 3. What illusory chains hold me? 4. What reality holds me? 5. How can I free myself? 6. What will happen?

Author's Note: This spread has been inspired by a forum on AT on this link http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?t=54978. I've changed it a bit and gotten rid of some cards to make this spread more customised. So overall this spread can be used to help you solve a situation. Here is a wonderful spread created by Chiriku[/member] and first shared by them at AT. This is one of my favorite spreads for winter, so I wanted to share it here and to work with it as a reading circle spread. I highly recommend you read Chiriku's original AT post- it is so poetic! All the spread info below is quoted from that original post: * * * The Gift of Winter * * * **A spread to be used at any time in relation to Winter: in the month or two before, to anticipate its coming; at the time of the Winter Solstice, to revel in its deepest and darkest hours; or in the winter months afterward, to celebrate the "here-and-now" of this awe-inspiring season in o…
