This is a more 'Kabbalistic' spread, as it is basically a mirror of what you are in the 4 worlds ( Atziluth, Briah, Yetzirah and Assiah) And what you should be in order to develop things, in order to procced to the next step.. It also can be an egregoire you believe guiding you  (Stay sharp, if you're connected with something, be sure that it will lead into a good thing), the spreads go directly into our subconscious (and in other words they come from there too right) Sometimes we're not going the right way, so this helps you align with things 1 - What i Am (ASSIAH) 2 -What i Am (YETZIRAH) 3 - What i Am (BRIAH) 4 - What i Am (ATZILUTH) 5 - What i shou…

Hello, I’m a newbie here and a newbie all around with tarot. I’ve been studying the traditional meanings of the cards for a while and picked up my first deck today. As I’ve been getting acquainted with it, I decided to try an interview spread. The results have me completely confused, as I am still learning to apply the card meanings to specific questions. Any and all help is totally appreciated! Tell me about yourself, what are your most important characteristics? 4 of wands What are your strengths? The Emperor What are your limits? 2 of swords What are you here to teach me? 9 of cups How can I best learn and collaborate with you? The devi…

In my view, tarot is not about 'predicting' something in the full sense of the word as much as disclosing future tendencies. But the question is... how far in the future? Let us exclude certain spreads, which, f.e, are specified for 3 or for 6 months. My question is mainly concerned with spreads based on the Celtic Cross or the three cards (past, present, future).

The Way of Tea Spread (3) by Glass Owl / Leviosa Crimson I originally posted this spread on AT. One member there used the Ludy Lescot Tarot with this spread and I thought it was a fantastic idea. The card meanings in the deck’s little white book offer an unique flavor. But of course, feel free to use this spread with any tarot or oracle deck of your choosing. "Tea is instant wisdom — just add water!" ~Astrid Alauda This spread was inspired by a tea poem by Chio Jen (Tang Dynasty) which I found at www.panthermoontea.com/chafu---tea-poems.html. This spread's layout is in the shape of a bowl (or a tea cup without a handle.) The Way of Tea A friend presented …

Hello, I thought I'd share a cool birthday spread I found online at NewAgeHipster.co. It's a nine-card spread that I have almost completed. I've been doing a card a day, but you could just as easily do all nine cards at once. Bookworm

Hello, everyone I've always been an awkward person. I don't have the greatest social skills, I have "unusual" interests (like Tarot!), and I've always been considered "different". But to quote Sailor Moon, "I prefer to be called unique". So here's a spread to celebrate and embrace your uniqueness. 1---2---3 1. What makes you unique. 2. Why this is an asset. 3. How to live your truth as the cool, unique person you are!

Hi everyone :-) Here is a spread I learned some years ago. It's to find your life calling and possible career. Do as follows: 1) Pull out of the deck all majors. Shuffle them and pull out one of them. 2) Pull out the four aces from the four suits. Shuffle them and pull out one of them. The major and the Ace you now have, will tell you which way to turn for career. I had my two cards as XXI The World and Ace of swords - suggesting on a physical level that a job with internet would be good - on a more spiritual level it made me think of the legend of King Arthur that got his sword from Lady of the Lake to go on a quest for the holy grail. Good luck :-)

Hi everyone, Usually I practice reading the cards by doing one for myself about once a month. I like the reading because it's only since recently that I've been able to 'read' them intuitively. I've been able to give myself a good reading but I've run out of questions now. I'm not really interested in how a visit from my friends will go, I'm 100% sure it will be fine. And I don't have enough going on in my personal life to do a daily card. I'm usually just home alone. Does anyone have some tips on how to practice reading the cards without a querent and question? Or maybe I should ask the cards? 😆 Or maybe somebody should tell me to jump …

So this has become a spread that I've been using more and more lately. It was made popular by Oswald Wirth, though it most likely predated him, and is a staple in many French cartomancy/tarot books. It's laid down like this: Though the meanings given to each position varies, I tend to use it like so: • Card 1 as what's for the situation • Card 2 as what's against the situation • Card 3 as the advice regarding the situation • Card 4 as the outcome if you take the advice • Card 5 as the synthesis/final say I've seen some people use Card 1 as the querent, or they'll read cards 1, 5 & 2 as the present si…

Curious topic! At least it is to me! I know that I dream sometimes and often it goes in phases (often with the lunar cycle, I know I've had a dream more often near a full moon). But I very rarely remember anything about them other than their overall vibe. E.g. I woke up at some point last night feeling 'shot through with adrenaline' and like I'd been scared. Around the full moon I woke up from a dream feeling warm, cosy and 'lighter than air'. But I don't remember anything that led up to that point. I'm looking for a tarot spread to help me understand these dreams when they come and help me try to interpret their messages, which is hard without remembering the dr…

Sharing some of my favorite bookmarked spreads. https://www.tarotforum.net/threads/glass-owls-spreads.153391/ I didn't create these but GlassOwl posted them on AT back in the day. I especially love the 2 & 3 card spreads. Great for learning new decks. My fave spread for self-reading is the quick & dirty "Mary Poppins Spread".

I came across a great Eclipse Tarot Spread, through the wonderful Worts+Cunning site. So for anyone who's looking to work with the cards today on Eclipse day I thought this could be a great spread to work with! This is a linear 3-card spread, laid out 1-2-3. The below is all copied and pasted from the Worts+Cunning site linked above. I've just copied and pasted the basics here but there's more details and suggestions on the site. The Eclipse Season Tarot Spread The spread is only three cards: a Sun, a Moon, and a Shadow card. You for how you choose your Sun and Moon cards.
