To assist those that might be caught between choosing books and what have you. There is not alot of reviews out there about these Encyclopaedias, but found this one just now when googling to see if any. " March 27, 2021 Using Lenormand to investigate Personality, Timing and Health There are three volumes in Björn Meuris’ “Petit Lenormand Encyclopedia” series. Information is a little sparse (I had to order the third volume without a clue as to what was in it) so I’ll write a review of each of the three volumes so you can more easily understand what’s what. But first an overview of the whole series:Volume 1: A overvi…

Hello All! i heard from my friend Elaine this morning [seven Stars] and she is working on the 2017 edition of the Samhain Lenormand. She gave me permission to post about it and show a few samples. Here is the email i received from her: "Here's a few of the Lenormands. It's a limited edition. I wanted it to be all fall colors....lots of yellows & oranges, falling leaves from trees, a lot of hints at Samhain but not a full every single card is halloween kind of thing. With the birds I wanted it to be like, "empty nest syndrome"....by fall, all the baby birds have left the nest. And of course, bats in the belfry for the Tower, stuff like that. Should have it …

I have been gravitating to the Vintage German for a couple reasons. One, it has the old images I love and two, love the cardstock, it's really a pleasure to shuffle. The Minute Lenormand gets use. LOVE the bright images Chronata made :) But also reach for the Anna. K and Ancient Lenormand, all the ones in my profile. The Noir is also a fav. But yes, this week, the Vintage German is getting a lot of use. What deck have you reached for...the MOST....lately?

LENORMAND DOES NOT BELONG IN DIVINATION. Needs to be moved to its own sub-area or whatever as it is not like using stones, mirrors, sticks, paper, crystal balls, divining rods, mobile phones, flower petals, toilet paper, dominoes, Mah Jong, tiles, herbs, bones, Chinese sticks, Runes etc etc etc. There are 36 cards made of cardboard that have images, words and/or numbers on them. ;D ;D ;D

What are some characteristics that really bother you in Lenormand decks? Like, deal-breakers. Personally, I am kinda bothered when the Clouds card don't have a brighter and darker side, because positioning is so importante to me in a spread. Also, when the "people" cards (Man and Woman) are facing ahead, so they can never be looking towards or away from each other. It kind of kills the potential for "narrative", in my opinion. I'm curious if other people are bothered by such things or if I'm just awfully nit-picky.

It is supposed to be the tower from tarot.. in espiode 3 Yet as they talked about it. I could only see lenormand tower. They even called it a folly.. an ornament "Imagine having so much money you just build towers for no reason"

some of the lenormand before i started studying lenormand i loved due to the imagery.. but then i saw they don't have the playing cards anywhere on the images. (least the under the roses have it in the bottom right hand corner like kh for example ). :o and i wondered if should use it , or if i did ,,would i not be learning the lenormand depth :-[ so i am looking at my wish list,, and the blue owl lenormand and the gina roberto lenormand don't have any playing cards on the cards :'( are you fine with it ? imagine if the tarot right at the beginning hard the astrology symbol on it,, then all the sudden the cards today didn't use it ? :D so what your verdi…

Say you want to know if love with someone is possible and you get the cards: Clover - Bouquet - Anchor Clover-Bouquet suggests it's a short-lived, flirty, non-serious romance, but... Bouquet-anchor suggests it's a long term, serious romance. How do you then make a decision? Would it be gut instinct for you? Is there a story I am not seeing? I have come across similar results before and i've never known how to interpret them.

The cards pictured above aren't all of the Clubs suit, obviously. They're just window dressing. ;) Clubs, in the original German suits, were Acorns. It's a hardship Suit. Preparing a meal of acorns is labor intensive and not worth the effort to people who are not starving. Clubs include the Clouds, Snake, Whips/Birchrods, Fox, Bear, Mountain, Mice, Ring, and Cross. While A few of these can be neutral sometimes, they can also carry extremely negative meanings. Lenormand is a little bendy sometimes. Scythe, for instance, is danger but it isn't a Club. But while some of these cards might also carry neutral meanings, the major, MAJOR malefics are Clouds …

I did check past topics but did not see anything about this so in case I missed it I apologize for starting a new one. I’m finding different people determine these differently. There are some who use positive, positive neutral, neutral, negative neutral and negative. Then others who don’t use the positive neutral or negative neutral. Does this coincide with the different “ dialects” of Lenormand? I’ve been reading Björn Meuris, Andy B and (newly started reading) Iris Treppner. I am thinking I just need to pick one of the three until I learn and know it before I move on but which one? And which one to learn for the positive negative? I think only one way to lear…

:o as I was in the back seat looking out the window,, I was thinking of the rider,, and how important he is,, almost like the first card of spring .. LIGHT BULB ! Aries: Fire, Ruled by Mars these 3 cards should deal with the personal the first house of astrology. the aries is a fast changing fire element, however can't sustain. 1. Rider: First Decan: 0-10 degrees, ruled by Mars the major fire element card , as the planet it is ruled by is here,, the planet gives the card it energy and drive. 2. Clover: Second Decan: 10-20 degrees, ruled by Sun the sun makes it is starting fire personal and cosmic at the same time , the energies are compatible. …

Hello, everyone. In your opinion, in your reading practice, which of the cards - Clover or Bouquet - symbolizes the small pleasures of life? I ask this because I've read different authors who ascribe this meaning to both cards. Could they both represent such idea? If so, what's the difference?

I need an opinion, or several. I have the legendary Lenormand book by Andy B. I am now looking at The Art of Lenormand Reading: Decoding Powerful Messages by Alexandre Musruck as a suppliment. I like to look at 2 sources when learning something. Does anyone know this book and/or have an opinion on it/ I am as beginner as they come, not even familiar with Tarot. I own Grand Tableau that says Lo Scarabeo? It is italian I think. It looks like the Blue Owl cards. I also have the Gilded Reverie, which I know, from being here, that it gets mixed reviews.

When I am doing readings back to back, sometimes I like to keep using a certain deck, and I switch decks between readings. Just my thing. I grab a "fresh" deck that's in order. Again, just how I roll, we all do it the way we do it. So having more than one of some of the decks I read a lot with helps. They're not back ups, they're literally back-to-back decks. For me, reall's Ancient Lenormand, Seven Stars Vintage Lenormand are two of those decks. While I love other decks, and Robyn's/Chronata's Petit Lenormand Noir is one I am especially, not that easy to get another of. SO which of your Lenormands, FOR WHATEVER REASON, do you have two of, or…

Cheersies! Given how the Lenormand section had been active lately, I felt I could ask if there's a suitable deck. You see, I've often admired Lenormand decks for the high purity of their card symbols - with each card, by default, containing a single symbol only (albeit a vague enough one). And so, I'm looking for a deck which has it's illustrations drawn in a correspondingly simple and pure way. A Fox that looks as close to the concept of the Fox as possible, a House depicted being the very idea of the House and so on - it's a bit hard to explain in detail, but I hope you will understand my line of thought. Are there any decks which, in your opinion, fit my de…

Dear Ones, i just have to say--Rana George's Lenormand deck is the most gorgeous Lenormand deck i have ever seen. It is the jewel of my collection and reads like a dream. It is not only the most gorgeous jewel of a Lenormand deck, it is one of the most gorgeous decks that i have ever had the joy to hold in my hands. The colors, the card stock, the sheer beauty of the paintings, the box and booklet--First Class Plus!!! i had more than 100 Lenormand decks at one time, and this is the topper. The pics or vids online don't begin to capture the beauty... And the price is sooooooo reasonable!

I will post here when I get new ems from ANNA. I haven't gotten ANYTHING since the last post I posted on my ANNA. K thread in AT. BUT will keep you updated here and she does keep her ANNA. K Lenormand site updated. AND we shouldn't have to wait TOO much longer for the deck. I know Anna is hoping for September, but she is a perfectionist and I know she will send the deck back to the printers if it is not up to her standards. I will be happy if we can order this year :) My AT thread is over three years old, and I am happy to wait a bit longer!

Do you have a favorite spread that's your go-to? Favorite techniques you always use with certain spreads? By Spread I mean the shape you lay [line, tableau, pyramid, etc.] and by technique, things like mirroring, knighting, MOD, chaining, houses, etc. I've studied and tried many different spreads and techniques. Like everyone, I started with lines. I tried crosses. Pyramids. Traditional GT, etc. etc. The most common, 9-card tableau, I've never been able to read. Some techniques I use exclusively on Lines [mirroring] while other techniques I use on GTs [MOD, houses] After much trial and error my sweet spot is to lay a full GT over …

J.E. Stretch the guy who made the Stretch Tarot has launched a Kickstarter for his new Lenormand in the same style as the Tarot deck, the Kickstarter is here I was totally into the Stretch Tarot from @Raggydoll raving about it and it came about by Kickstarter and is now sold as a deck from his website that anyone can get. He takes public domain vintage photos and illustrations and creates collages on the cards. I loved the tarot deck for it's diversity, it had real minority representation and diversity in sex and gender and it's a lovely deck. I love the art and style of his work, it's beautifully made. Now he is making a Lenormand wit…
