Found this gem in the old AT. To those who haven't watched it yet, do try to see the Tarology documentary by Enrique Enriquez. It's very insightful, and it's free to watch in the link I'll provide below. And yup it's legit. It's around movie-length, and I never got bored at all. I hope that you enjoy it too. Here it is: http://www.snagfilms.com/films/title/tarology

Hi, everyone. I am glad to have discovered the forum, and to have become a participant. The Navajo had a saying that whenever one comes to visit, it is a good habit to bring something with oneself, be it even something as simple a smile. Therefore, I thought that for my first post here, I would bring something, and I would make it a subject that seems to have interested quite a few collectors of Tarot in the past - the HBO's series "Carnivàle". Those who remember it no doubt recall the importance of Tarot, and the unforgettable opening of the show, with its mysterious, painted deck that turned into living panoramas. There have been many discussions…

To those who have used predictive Tarot applications/software, how accurate did you find them?

I don't know if any of you are aware of the game site "pogo.com" ... but one of the many games they have are hidden item games based (loosely) on the Sherlock Holmes stories by Doyle. I was playing one based on the story of "The Red-headed League" and noticed that Holmes has a Tarot deck in his study! It appears to be a TdM style deck ...

Do any of you here reads comic books? I'm in my 40's now, and I recently found a new love for comic books and graphic novels! In my youth, I never read comics. I was more into prose books and encyclopedia. I started being interested by the occult, magic, sorcery and tarot at 13 years old, in 1993. I started reading comics after I saw the Doctor Strange movie in 2016, I loved every minutes of it, particularly the quick references to the chakras and the auras, and all the mysticism of what we call magick. So, that movie picked my interest in Doctor Strange comics (and many others), and during the last 5 years, I bought lots of them and saw many iterations of the tarot in th…

Hello, i remember seeing a Tarot deck with many famous celebrities like Madonna and Prince on some cards, i can't remember the name of it now but i'm guessing there have been so many. I recently bought the David Bowie Tarot deck which was fascinating and there was some Star wars Tarot images lurking around somewhere online. Are there any more celebrity decks that can been seen anywhere.

https://tarotelements.com/ she is the basis of the tarot readings for beyond the celtic cross book "he predicted a new man in my life, but I wanted to know more. Bold as brass, I asked if it was possible to re-read these cards, this Celtic Cross spread and reading, using the techniques he taught on his website: Elemental Dignities, Card Counting and Pairing. Paul will admit to not using the Celtic Cross for many years in his own tarot practice and felt a little bored by my original request. With his interest now pricked, we set about dissecting, counting, comparing, deciphering and re-reading my original tarot reading using all of the techniques he promotes. We di…

I was reading the Guardian the other day, and saw that the Warburg Institute in London has a very interesting occult library - but more specifically, will be holding a show on original Tarot artwork in January. I'm not in London. Wouldn't it be nice of someone to take photos and tell us about it? Or perhaps some TTM members would like to visit as a group? It would be good if we could get temporary memberships for their occult library (being researchers on behalf of this forum). Would we write a book? What topic chapter would you want to write about? Just a suggestion - not sure if it's possible. Let me know your thoughts. I'll see if I can get …

A new Tarot horror movie has been made 😱 Originally called Horoscope, based on a book called Horoscope (which surely would be more Astrology based), it's been renamed "Tarot". The synopsis.... When a group of friends recklessly violates the sacred rule of Tarot readings – never use someone else’s deck – they unknowingly unleash an unspeakable evil trapped within the cursed cards. One by one, they come face to face with fate and end up in a race against death to escape the future foretold in their readings. It's a teen horror movie about young people "messing" around with cards. Of course the movie poster has the Death card in it! Let…

Was pleasantly surprised to find this lil guy as the promo card for a box I bought in my local game store. The Tarot must really be that ubiquitous if one can find it in something as mainstream as Magic: the Gathering. Earlier this year, Clarkson Potter released The Magic: the Gathering Oracle Deck. It featured Theros though, which is a planar riff on Ancient Greek mythology. Not my cuppa tea so I skipped it.

Hey all! I recently started listening to "The Anti-fragile tarot podcast" on Spotify, and I'm really enjoying it! I wanted to know if anyone had any more recommendations for youtube series or podcasts that have to do with tarot and/or the occult?
-
While I'm at work or doing chores/crafts at home, I love to listen to podcasts for some good old fashioned edutainment. I've been poking around and haven't seen much on the topic-- does anyone else listen to podcasts? I'd very much like to get into some tarot-focused ones to listen to and learn with.
