I dive a bit into the Tarot of Shadows in this thread, for those interested:

I'm enjoying doing various work with this deck, usually in conjunction with another pack on the table, such at the Thoth or a RWS variant. Before I share how my progress is going, and a bit about my method, how many of you are utilizing the Tarot of Shadows now that several English versions are available? Is there interest in me sharing more?

Just a quick message. Pox, the booklet for your Russian red box deck is also in Russian, right? Can you transcribe the text for the Magic Circle card and post it here? I'm excited because I found the companion book of the Russian kit written by Sklyarova herself. It is this one: Upon translating the meanings in the book, it's very different from the one in the Classic/English silver box. I'll post the text in the thread later. Right now I'd just like to compare the Russian text from my book and your booklet and see if they're similar. Thanks!

There are three main sources that cover the actual Shadows cards which I will use in this study group. Any additional ones that I eventually find will be posted in this thread. The first is the hardcover book in English that is included in the kit released by the Ukrainian publisher, Deluxe. It's entitled Tarot Of Shadows: A Companion and it was written by Irina Ilyina and V. Ad Veritatum. It's based on the Russian book written by Vera Sklyarova herself entitled таро теней комментарии, which I covered HERE. I finally have it, and it's oh so much better than I expected! While the Special edition has a highly-reflective silver back, the Classic has a more staid silver-gray metal ink background with the reversed pentagram demon of the Ahriman card presenting a tasteful contrast in bold red. The borders on the front has the same metal ink, but just a tad lighter. I have yet to unseal the cards since I plan to dedicate the deck this Friday, so pics are to come. I have read some rituals that Sklyarova herself seems to have suggested when using the deck. They're mighty strange tbh. Here's the original text in Russian: "ВНИМАНИЕ!" При проведении раскладов колодой Таро Теней Мастер ОБЯЗАН соблюдать эти правила! 1.Одежда Мастера должна быть Черного цвета.
