Hello, Would anyone like to share there meanings or experiences about the emperor rx? I really don’t know what to think of him when he’s reversed. The only think I associate him with is someone who doesn’t know how to be a man, someone who can’t step up and take charge. No backbone and weak. Also that he can’t be the man you need him. For example if your talking to a guy and you ask if he will become your boyfriend, and you get the emperor reversed that could be saying he can’t be your boyfriend he can’t fill that position in your life. The emperor rx just really gets me sometimes. So any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys! My question was whether someone has left his family and moved away from his house. I requested one card but this combo came up: Sun Reversed + Chariot Upright Feels to me like he has left unhappily. The Sun card signifies kids/family as well, so maybe he was sad about leaving his kids? But the Chariot is a definite YES, is that right?

Help! I tried to look for other posts but couldn’t find any. If there are please let me know. dealing with a separation divorce so I’ve pulled some cards and one is the damn five of swords! I struggle with this card so much. I know this isn’t much context but I believe we are only to post a single card, but I’m thinking in this situation it’s seen as just let it be, there are no winners. any advice would be appreciated. Thanks 🙂

Hello everyone, I've read somewhere the Death card can be related to finances in general, but in what ways? I tend to interpret this card in terms of change and transformation, especially after an ending, or also as something inevitable, as paying taxes for example 😂 What do you think? What are your experiences in terms of finances with the Death card? Thank you so much.

Hello, I was wondering how the Page of Swords could be interpreted as advice.. Could it mean you need to change your perspective/way of thinking? What do you think? Thanks a lot.

Hello everyone, how can The World be interpreted in the context of intimacy and sex? The card was pull in terms of advice, I was thinking about suggesting to be more spontaneous and open, I say so because of the image in the RWS deck, but I'm not sure. What do you think? Thank you.

In various situations (so, not the same one), I have had the page of swords reversed, but in a context that can only be positive (as in, the question was a positive one, as were the clarifying cards, etc.). I know that this generally is a negative card in the reverse, so does anyone else have experience with this, and what did it mean in a positive sense?

By the way, the illustration below isn't a layout or a reading. What cards might mean 'uneasiness'? Not outright fear, or worry (like you would get from the 9 of Swords, etc) ...but just that naggy feeling you get when everything seems fine, but something just doesn't feel right. And you can't tell (yet) what that something might be. I do use reversals when I read, so these cards are the way I'd read them, if they were to appear in a layout. I went through the RWS deck and chose 8 cards I think MIGHT represent cards that might make you uneasy. You might caution yourself not to count chickens even AFTER they've hatched. Obviously the car…

(Apologies if I have placed this in the wrong subforum. I was debating if this should go in the Personal Readings section, but since I'm not asking for help with interpretation, Individual Card Meanings seemed like a better fit). Yesterday we had a funeral for my grandmother, who passed away just after the new year. The funeral was small, with everyone distant and in masks, and outside as much as possible. Last night I drew my card of the day as I always do, and I was struck by how the day's experience fundamentally changed my understanding of the card. The card was the Three of Wands in the RWS. I have never particularly liked this card. I've alwa…

Hello everybody! So I wanted to know if anybody would be willing to share their thoughts, feelings and experiences with this card. I like the king of wands kinda sorta lol. But I really see him as the bachelor of the deck, he loves the ladies and the spotlight. To me he’s a cheater as well but he’s not like the knight of wands a flighty lover, no he’s the kinda of lover who’s very charming so it’s hard to want to let him go. And not to mention he’s attractive (my ex pops up as the king of wands now). But he is definitely a ladies man and he can be domineering as well as bossy. But once again he knows how to inject his charm and charisma so he doesn’t seem bossy and domine…

I just watched a Georgina Toland video, in which she mentioned that the 3 of Swords does not necessarily mean 'heartbreak.' She said it can also mean the victory of the mind over the workings of the heart. Logic kills emotion, etc. I am quite intrigued by this option. Has anybody else here ever used this interpretation? I can see it has possibilities. And the reversed card could mean excessive or inappropriate emotion when a logical or thoughtful response is needed? Makes sense to me.

I’m curious how others interpret the 3 of Cups when it comes to love/romance readings Yes, I often associated with a “third party”, but also I tend to associate it with a relationship that might be fun, but really not very serious, or most likely will fizzle out- that it’s not really built to last I understand the other cards in the spread make a difference, but typically unless I see it with a Ten of Cups or a Two of Cups, that is how I see it, and especially if I see it with a Page (immature) energy For me it’s simply not an indicator of a serious romance But, I’m curious how others read it!

Hello everyone, I'm having a problem with the 3 of Pentacles (RWS), that is I think didn't really understand its true meaning.. I've always considered it as a card of teamwork, support, solid basis between two and also a card of learning and hard work, but it has sometimes occured to be not so positive.. What's its real meaning? What are those 3 people really up to? Are they really building something together? What are your experiences with this card? Thank you so much.

I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum. I can't think of anywhere else to post. I don't have a spread. I just want to know the individual card meaning. I know this card means loss of intuition but can it ALSO mean a literal scandal, especially if combined with the moon reversed?

I was studying the imagery of the cards more closely today, and two questions popped up in my head while I was studying Rider Waite’s Chariot card in particular. 1. In terms of the Astrology: If we look at the belt the male figure is wearing, we notice four signs; one of them is cancer obviously, and the far right we have the moon. Left to the moon, there’s a symbol I see as a flash to the left (tell me if I’m wrong) and on the far right, we have a sign that looks either like the north node or leo, I’m not sure which. I wanted to ask if what I’m seeing makes sense at all, or if I’m just being too deep? Also, do the signs on the figure’s lower clothing mean anything? …

Which major arcana cards you think represent relocation, not just travel (or holidays) but mainly emigration. I would take three: The World, The Star and/or The Chariot. The Moon and the Fool could also signify travel, but mostly holidays rather moving to a different place. I also tend to associate The Star with relocation to a place close to rivers and sees, as long as the Star symbolizes water.

Hello everyone! I've been contemplating on the possibility of the 7 of Cups representing emotional manipulation via all the cups one is considering. Assuming that it's paired with another card, could the upright be interpreted as emotional manipulation because one has to choose between all the options that have emotional weight for that person? I've always believed that the 7s carry the energy of uncertainty and mystery. Or would reversed be a better fit for my theory? What card combos would lead to this? I'm thinking reversed court cards and the 7 of cups could be a possibility.

Hello guys, I'm having something really strange happening here. 6 of Swords has been stalking me A LOT recently, I did about 9 readings over the past few days and 6 of Swords came up in around 6 or 7 of them, usually as a base. I've had stalker cards before, but not to such extent. To me, this is actually the best proof that Tarot cards work. What are the chances of this happening? Another card that has been stalking me a little bit is Knight of Cups too, but not to such a great extent (maybe 5 readings or so). I feel like this card is about moving on. I've actually been thinking about breaking things off with my bf. Could it be pointing to t…

I do quite a few love-based or relationship-based readings and recently I've had a couple of readings in which the Six of Cups appears as the card that connects the two parties in the romantic relationship. I've been interpreting this to mean there's strong affection between the two, maybe more of a platonic love, but I don't know if there's something I'm missing. What does everyone else think? Has the Six of Cups ever shown up for you in this context?

Just wondered. Can be 5 of wands about making thinks together/build something? If you check out at this card, it seems like they are working on something and they are looking at their wands like with admiration and astonishment and not who is next to them. Maybe they are mad for small place between them, but seems more they are working on something imo.

I'm struggling to understand the meaning of the Magician card in the outcome position of a love reading. Could it be about manifestation and creation. That the querent needs to be clear about what they wish for and can make it happen. Any thoughts appreciated.

I was flipping around the internet the other day, and I found this flash card thing with tarot...(it looks like someones project)? I haven't looked at it real close...I will post it, and maybe someone can figure out if its helpful at all...(it looks like it might help get some of the traditional meanings down for the cards)... https://quizlet.com/212976251/the-hanson-roberts-tarot-flash-cards
