Individual Card Meanings

Hello friends, how are you? I've had great exchanges here and learned a lot! 🙂 What is your opinion about the wheel representing feelings? As an object that rotates and can represent velocity, I can think of: Anxiety, agitation, nervousness, restlessness, unstable feelings, ups and downs, inconsistent feelings, moving on, something not very defined, desire to evolve, feelings that evolve with speed, progress and dynamism... and what else? Any idea?

I’m curious how others interpret the 3 of Cups when it comes to love/romance readings Yes, I often associated with a “third party”, but also I tend to associate it with a relationship that might be fun, but really not very serious, or most likely will fizzle out- that it’s not really built to last I understand the other cards in the spread make a difference, but typically unless I see it with a Ten of Cups or a Two of Cups, that is how I see it, and especially if I see it with a Page (immature) energy For me it’s simply not an indicator of a serious romance But, I’m curious how others read it!

Hey all! So, I have recently done a deck interview ( the Wild Unknown) as lately I have been drawn to more Pip-ish decks ( and am afraid to go all in and just grab a Marseille deck). My final question was- What is the potential energy of our working relationship? The answer was RX magician- which usually indicates deceit, loss of power, dis-empowerment, weak or over-inflated ego etc... Am REALLY baffled about this answer- does it mean we SHOULDNT work together? Would LOVE to hear your thoughts...

Hello everyone, this might sound completely weird, but both The Emperor and The Hierophant feel completely off to me to the point where I just remove them from the deck. They are following me, but it seems like I just can't never understand their message for me. Also they're actually the only two cards I struggle with when it comes to remembering their meanings.

Of late I have been getting repeat cards on my daily guidance pulls. This week it is the 8 of swords. I use the Rider-Waite deck. I struggle a bit with this card. I liked what Lindsay Mack said in one of her posts if you feel trapped check to make sure you can open the window or something like that. I also read it is a feeling of unworthiness. Curious other's thoughts on the card and repeater cards in general.

I have pulled this card (Rider Waite based) for timing a few times in past few days. After googling timing methods: it can be read as in four weeks or sometime after that depressive phase lifts (Picture appears to be of a person apathetic towards everything around them) Any input and/or experience you all have on calculating timing when you pull four of cups? Though it hasn't popped up a lot lately, it's been bugging me for quite some time what this card could possibly mean. I kept getting it during my daily readings, too. My intuition at the time was telling me it was about my friend (who is young), but I couldn't figure out what exactly that meant? I've struggled with the court cards for a long time, and although I've started understanding them a little more especially recently, I get stumped with differentiating the Queens and Kings mostly because the cards that I've used have always gendered them in obvious or visible ways, which makes it hard for me to remove them from their stereotypical gender roles. Hey! I'm a tarot newbie and every time I get the The Hanged Man in reversed I get a bit confused. Since I'm new, I only know the very basics of the meanings. I know it means missing an opportunity, refusing change, detachment, and stagnation. I typically only get it as a clarifying card but I just simply can't connect with it. Hello guys, I'm having something really strange happening here. 6 of Swords has been stalking me A LOT recently, I did about 9 readings over the past few days and 6 of Swords came up in around 6 or 7 of them, usually as a base. So I know this card is generally related to heartbreak, break ups, difficulties in relationships etc. But given that it's a swords card it has me a bit confused. Swords deal with mental/intellectual aspects, while cups deal with emotions. Therefore, I'd expect to see a card about heartbreak to be in the cups suit more than with the swords suit. What is your take on this card? Do you think it relates more to the mental aspects of heartbreak, like when your mind is racing and you can't stop thinking about someone/something? Or do you think that regardless of the suit, it can still relate to heartbreak on an emotional level?

It seems every website I look at has a different meaning for this card. My guide book matches some of them, but it's really difficult to know what the right definition is. Obviously it also depends on the subject (love, health, career) but my guide book gives a general meaning of truth, mental clarity. Some websites match this, others say it's about conflict, quick and forceful action or new beginnings and communication. So I don't know which definition is accurate and why people have so many different interpretations of it. Reading up on meanings to The World card (upright), there seems to be a finality about it, perhaps mostly in a positive sense? I'm not sure I understand the kind of "ending" it's suggesting. How final is The World? Death, seems final. Ten of Swords is fairly final, most of the Tenth pip cards denote an ending of sorts. How does the ending in The World fit - it seems like an ending, but at the same time, not. I am still learning how to interpret cards for all sorts of situations, spreads, and inquiries. I find myself drawing a blank on how to apply a card's meaning to how it would represent a person (say the querent or about whom the querent is asking). More specifically in relationship spreads where the position of the card is to be read as "Represents Querent/Other Person" and the card is drawn rather than picking a significator. The card that is drawn is not a court card where the meanings are already more person geared. But rather say 4 of Cups or The Tower. I keep stumbling into this card, and have been looking up different interpretations of it. I apologise if this has been covered here. I tried to find but couldn't locate it. For me, this card kinda signifies giving. Like feeling the sense of abundance and sharing it with people. I always read this as material giving or sharing, since it's pentacles. I was casually staring at the Star card yesterday, trying to find anything more obvious than the stock meanings available everywhere. Then I saw the shape of the seven stars. It’s not a V, it’s like the curved sides of a chalice/cup. While Ace of Cups suggests an energy overflowing from the chalice to the waters, it doesn’t place everything in context. There’s a bird again, but a dove, rather than the Ibis on the star. I'll share something that happens a lot with me now that I've learned to hear that little elusive voice in the cards. I was looking through my new Forest of Enchantment deck awhile ago and as I came across the Seeker of Boons, suddenly it flashed into my mind "metal detecting." The meanings of the ten of cups like long-term relationship, harmony, soulmates and homecomings tsc.. always brought me a a very happy vibe but in my life this card mostly appears whenever a big relationship is coming to an end (not always a harmonic one). So I personally see this as fate, a karmic long-term relationship coming to it's purpose (and that depending can mean marriege or separation tsc). Hi there, I'm looking for some interpretations for the four of coins. I really like the wildwood interpretation of protection, as I don't relate to the fiscal quality of the four of pentacles. I was just wondering if anyone had any additional interpretations of the four of coins/ four of pentacles? Is it that we need to provide protection for ourselves and others?
