Hi! I'm doing a study in the Adventurer's Tarot; the deck booklet is extremely sparse and I don't think the definitions are necessarily accurate to the cards. Some cards are specific to this deck, so the above problem paired with an overall lack of information for some of these means I can't figure out better, in-depth meanings for the cards. So, I thought I'd ask you guys- I'm curious to hear other people's thoughts about it, even if it's very DnD oriented ;3

Hello everyone, how would you interpret the Page of Wands in a job context? I generally tend to see this card as a potential job offer. Do you think it may be about something else too? Thank you so much.

I have always thought that the man & woman on the right of the master mason are the one's seeking advice from the mason who is standing on the bench. They are showing him their plans for the future and are seeking advice on how achieve what it is they are wanting. So, I was listening to a YouTube video which had a completely different meaning. I am confused here. What do you think is going on in this card? Thanks in advance! BTW I am using the RWS deck.

Hi, How do you differentiate between these two in your readings? Or how have they shown up or panned out in your readings? Both are holding on to one wand only, so potentially one choice has been made, leaving behind one or other two. Then, I think about if two of cups is a choice or even lovers being read as a choice, then do we use these wands cards for choices too? If three of wands is waiting for results (looking at ships) or sending ships off to progress, then is two of wands about getting ready to take that one step in the vast sea? On has turned his back (I only use RWS so only speaking for that deck) and other is standing sideways but…

Recently in one of my readings I drew as a signifier the 2 of Cups, then above that the Ace of Wands and 3 of Cups. Initially I interpreted this to mean that there was excitement regarding a new relationship but it turned out that it suggested a polyamorous relationship with three other people. Isn't that wild? So I learned that the combination of the 2 and 3 of Cups can symbolize a polyamorous arrangement.

Judgement is one card that really confuses me when it turns up in a reading. To me, it's very similar to justice and I think the imagery really throws me off! (in the RWS deck). Usually all I can think about is judgement day and the bible ect.... I know judgement is about awakening and rebirth but can someone please tell me the main differences between justice and judgement? I have searched online and just end up getting more confused.

In Lenormand, we have the Dog to show loyalty. Anchor can also show steadfast which is similar. In Tarot we have cards that show betrayal. 10 Swords is the obvious and extreme example. The older versions of Hanged Man reference the punishment for betrayal in Renaissance Italy and thus show disloyalty. Moon, a negative Magician, Devil might all touch upon manipulation and betrayal. False friends. But what cards illustrate LOYALTY itself? 2 cups shows lovers pledging vows. So that illustrates loyalty. In modern times, it's generally limited to romantic, and less global. Older Tarocchi decks might show Lovers pledging vows, but thi…

I do quite a few love-based or relationship-based readings and recently I've had a couple of readings in which the Six of Cups appears as the card that connects the two parties in the romantic relationship. I've been interpreting this to mean there's strong affection between the two, maybe more of a platonic love, but I don't know if there's something I'm missing. What does everyone else think? Has the Six of Cups ever shown up for you in this context?

How would you interpret the moon as an external influence, for example in the celtic cross spread? I've recently gotten it twice in this potition in regards to relationship questions. I know the moon can mean that you might not be seeing things clearly or be delusional about the situation. But as an external influence I'm struggling.

Here's a card, whose number is the foundation to the Tree of Life. A number of strength and power, inner power. The warrior who will soon be welcomed home with a parade and some energetic rewards later on. A card that represents staying faithful to your purpose. Thats some of my feelings about it.

I'm currently reading The Thoth Companion (M.O. Snuffin) and adding to my notes. For the Prince of Cups, I'm confused about his element. According to my 'research' I found the Thoth Prince = Waite Knight. In my notes I have Knights as fire, but in the book it says Princes are Air. While I thought Kings were Air... I'm lost. Or do Thoth and Waite just have a different approach and I should seperate the two schools in my notes?

How would you interpret this 6 of wands in a relationship context as an outcome? I feel the man is alone, picking up these sticks being handed over to him, he is getting the support but he doesn't seem very happy. It feels like he is getting a grip of the situation. But he does have garland around his body..but should he not be celebrating? It doesn't look like he is enjoying it or is being egoistic. Is he just being content? And the card only shows him, what about the partner? Unlike the RWS, which is about recognition and success, this one seems a bit tricky to me.

Hello friends! In the past I have posted about this same exact topic. The Sun card has a personal meaning to me. It usually symbolizes my sickness schizophrenia. I had asked why such a card would have a negative meaning. I would like to share my take on the card so far. These are just notes of mine. The Sun Can often be seen as misleading or misunderstood . At a glance if may often lead you to believe there is no hardship. The sun is easily gifted among us. The sun is often the giver of life. And the queret is often the receiver of the sun’s blessings. You will be misunderstood. There is a depth to this card. Stigma and false notions …

Asking question, will this event ever happen again, the first card was Death card, and then next cards were some positive cards such as Hierophant, Hermit, and some court cards. What could it mean or imply when Death card appears as the first card in the reading? Any ideas or thoughts? Thanks.

Hey everybody! I’m looking for so thoughts on this unique 5 of Cups. This comes from the Flux Arcana deck by Micah Ulrich. I’m newer to tarot, and this deck has a few cards that differ from the standard RWS imagery, one if them being this one. I love this deck, but it’s tough for a beginner, though in general i click really well with it. So our imagery here is not the usual 5 cups you’d see, with 3 overturned and 2 upright. Here we have a figure holding one in what seems like…joy? And the other 4 are upright on the ground, with ‘halos’ around them. To me this speaks of, instead of sorrow, perhaps like a choice. Lifting up one at the expense of the others. But …

Hi!!! I was just wondering if people could share their experience with the 8 of wands I’m really trying to broaden my view on this card. Because when I see this I think communication, movement and being busy. So I’m wondering what else could it show up for outside of that? Once I pulled this card when I did a reading for a friend when she was asking about communication from someone, got this card and thought it meant she would communicate with them, but she never heard from them and still haven’t lol. But I was just curious what others have seen this card for. Thanks for any comments.

Question: If you have a 9 of Cups in a position of Support Needed, how would you read that card? I read it as someone needing support in believing wishes can come true and believing she deserves to have her wishes and dreams come true. Thoughts? Side note: I realize there are many possibilities. Just curious what your immediate take would be.

Hey all! So, I have recently done a deck interview ( the Wild Unknown) as lately I have been drawn to more Pip-ish decks ( and am afraid to go all in and just grab a Marseille deck). My final question was- What is the potential energy of our working relationship? The answer was RX magician- which usually indicates deceit, loss of power, dis-empowerment, weak or over-inflated ego etc... Am REALLY baffled about this answer- does it mean we SHOULDNT work together? Would LOVE to hear your thoughts...

On traditional TdM cards, the Judgement Card, most every one, has the man and woman, the man looking up to the angel and there's the third figure with its back to us. I myself have never really been able to figure this third image out. Is it the couples baby? Is it a soul? Their soul? Is it a dead soul rising out of a coffin to help, ascending up to the angel? In some decks its blue, some flesh colored, some pale white. I know there is no one absolute answer to this, but I am curious what other readers may feel about this third figure. I myself am honestly having a hard time reading this particular figure. Thank you.

Hello everybody, I often find it hard to interpret these two ladies in readings about sex. Both Queens enjoy the sexual side of a relationship, but I can't explain how. The Queen of Wands is very passionate and hot, she doesn't like any restriction in her sexual life, so she does it her own way, though also the Queen of Pentacles enjoys the physical side of love, as her focus is on the body. However, I feel like I can't interpret her properly in this context, I often end up to say the same things as I would say for the other Queen. What do you think? What are your experiences with these two cards? Thank you in advance.

I've been reading the cards since 1998 and in all that time, I've never had the Death card show up in my daily shuffle/lay out cards routine consistently. In fact I don't recall it ever happening. I'm going to be 74 next month so seeing the Death card cycling around makes me a little flinch-y to be honest. Especially if the the High Priestess is in the same spread because the High Priestess is both my soul and personality card. The Tower card cycling around has always meant that I was going to have to move again. For the past two or three weeks, it's been Death, and not just with one deck, it's been doing it with every deck I've used. And to make it even worse, sometimes …

I never understood The World very well. I know it means natural endings and transitions, such as a child growing up and entering the world or an elderly person dying and leaving the world. But I don’t understand it deeply. What does it mean when it shows up in a position that signifies karmic debt in a past life relationship?
