Hello,

I'm Remy, I've been reading with tarot & oracle cards for over 15 years and Lenormand for about 10. After a couple years of my tarot practice taking a back seat, I'm coming back to (almost) daily readings.

I currently live in France so I own decks both in English and French (plus a couple extra languages, because why not ?). My deck collection is a bit out of control, I have a soft spot for indie decks (even though I don't own that many) and have created a few myself.

I used to lurk on Aeclectic but I don't think I ever posted anything 🤔

Welcome! I have been learning Tarot, but I already have a card collection. I can neither confirm nor deny if it is "out of control" 🙂

I completely get having a soft spot for indie decks despite not owning many. I'm very much in that boat myself, as well as the 'deck collection is out of control' boat. I think I have about 10 decks total even though I've only been reading for a couple of months. Safe to say I've found my weakness in life LOL If you ever want to chat about deck creation, do feel free to reach out. I'd love to create a proper deck of my own one day.

I understand the joy of owning multiple decks. Using them for comparative readings can be so insightful. 

 

And having a few decks ensures they keep each other company 😄

Thanks ! I do have too many decks, especially considering I live in a tiny flat.
But it's fine, I just keep buying bookshelves as it grows...and them I'll move to a bigger place 🤣

10 decks seem very manageable from where I stand, I started small too, then one day, you wake up and you have +100 decks filling your shelves 😅

I will for sure. I have never had decks professionally printed though. I guess that's the next big step. Right now I'm working on the minor arcana for a tarot deck. I'd have the whole deck complete soon if I didn't procrastinate as much 🙈

My decks are definitely not feeling lonely 😇

I do agree that comparative readings in a very good way to deepen one's understanding of tarot.
