Is it just me or is it everyone...

 

I can't view the images in old posts at all especially PostImage ones.  An example of what I'm talking about is attached below.

 

Postimage photos so far - not sure if this impacts on other ones at all before the last upgrade or major change.

 

Can it be adjusted to restore old images posted before it was modified.

Personally, I am unable to access the postimages site currently - so I wonder if they are having issues over there which is stopping photos getting over here.

Not as far as I'm aware.  I believe images uploaded to the forum are stored on the forum and not off site.

 

Images I've uploaded and posted recently seen to be fine currently (I'm not using postimages either)

 

ETA: older pictures of mine are fine too - I agree with Gregory, the issue is highly likely to be happening because postimages is down.

The same happens with quite a few image hosting sites. Photobucket is a nightmare, as most images don't show unless you pay - it's starting to happen with flickr as well; tinypic died too.

 

It's not something LF can do anything about - it's a matter of having chosen a hosting site that fell over.

 

Look on the bright side - if they had been posted with tinypic, all your posts would show this instead of every image:

AS far as I know, at the moment your best option is imgur. Unless you set up a dropbox and host your own.

Just checked and postimage is down - could see the last ones I uploaded via this site, but when going back to see what needed feedback or updates - the old ones were in error - the postimage ones that is!.

 

Didn't think to check postimage.
